24.01.2022 Jump N’ Jive today! 2pm-3pm! Lots of opportunities to move and practice our gross motor and even fine motor skills!! And even use our sense of taste today ! Whatever your dancing style, when moving with our minya people your own enthusiasm and encouragement is highly infectious so let’s get ready to participate, dance, balance, jump, move, groove and shake!

24.01.2022 Connected Beginnings and Save the Children staff along with some mums and bubs went to Koonibba for the Rocket Launch yesterday! Although we didn’t get to see a rocket, we all had a great time spending the day together!

We are continually learning to care for country and what that means ~ bush or beach! We are feeling the connection to land and sea We are learning what foods we can eat ~ yams, joongu joongu, scallops, googa, razor fish, muscles, periwinkles! We are also learning about what to avoid and how to best look after ourselves and our friend...s Our wild places provide such a rich learning environment and to see all the children thrive out On Country is what it’s all about!

14.01.2022 Today, one of our clever preschoolers suggested we collect the eucalypt seed caps and create a bracelet! What an AMAZING learning opportunity this was in nature to use our fine motor skills, concentrate for a long period of time, use hand-eye coordination and control (skills we need in years to come!) And of course, follow the interests of our children!
