20.01.2022 REMINDER With the increasing number of COVID-19 cases being reported across Victoria this week, please ensure that all participants report to training this week in line with State Government and Football Victoria guidelines. (i.e. do not attend if you feel unwell, social distance where possible, use hand-sanitiser etc) We note that a number of schools in the Geelong region have been closed as a consequence of potential COVID-19 cases. If you attend those schools or are in dir...ect contact with someone who has attended those schools, it is important that you do no attend training until which time the school is cleared of any adverse finding or the required period of self-isolation is observed. Please note that President John Didulica is going way overboard in the picture below, but the poor guy is either trapped in Melbourne or auditioning for Bane from Batman. If you require more information, you should consult the Football Victoria website at: www.footballvictoria.com.au
19.01.2022 BREAKING NEWS | "WERE BACK!" All of our players and coaches deserve the opportunity to develop and enjoy their football. To lose a season is something a footballer can never get back. Our next challenge is to get The North Fans back on the terraces."
19.01.2022 The sun was out and the spirits were high after another successful weekend of matches across community football. As we get more certainty over the next few days, we will let families know what impact tighter State Government restrictions will have on keeping football going. For the overall health and well-being of our members, we have a commitment to keep training and matches going as long as we are permitted to do so. However, we will always be guided first and foremost by public health considerations.

14.01.2022 A MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT Dear Member This weekend marks the long-awaited commencement of community football in Geelong.... It comes at a time of heightened anxiety across the community as we grapple with the consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic, which is understandably creating significant anxiety across the state and many people across the North Geelong Warriors community. To a large degree, we hope that re-commencing soccer can restore some normality to our lives and bring some measure of happiness, particularly to those families who may have been personally impacted upon by the consequences of COVID-19. Firstly, it is important that everyone knows that the club is committed to the health of every participant and will be doing everything within its power to ensure 100% compliance with Football Victoria and State Government directives around the management of football training and matches. Beyond this additional work, the ongoing uncertainty and shifting requirements has made the job of delivering football even more challenging for our many volunteers. COVID-19 has disrupted planning at every level and disturbed supply chains - which means things that we take for granted such as fixturing, ground availability, equipment and apparel (gear) is being impacted upon. Our many volunteers have never worked in a more complex environment. Yet, our volunteers are still subject to the same anxieties and pressures that each of us is feeling through this pandemic. As a consequence of this, I would ask that all of our members be as patient and as understanding as possible. Our volunteers are working their hardest to deliver the best possible outcomes for all players. Sometimes, they simply will not be able to solve every problem - as it has been caused by something outside of the clubs control. Thank you all in advance for your patience, appreciation and understanding of the work being done by the volunteers during a period of unprecedented challenges. It is the only way that we will be able to survive this season. We wish all the players and their parents the best possible start to this weekends round of matches. Warmest Regards, John Didulica President

NGWFC President John Didulica: "As a board we believed in recognising the past, present and future contribution to the Warriors that has been made by many girls and women.
