24.01.2022 Opportunity to move away from ‘doing’ and towards ‘being’. Just being. Opportunity to slow down, to connect. To pause and let ourselves feel sad for what we have lost and what others have lost, but to pause and feel gratitude for what we still have. To focus more on virtues, values and morals. Life skills and life lessons. ... With this pandemic - so much is lost. We won’t underestimate that, and we will not forget it. But what many of us are left with when the world stops and slows down - is time. We get to choose how we spend that time

20.01.2022 Especially applicable to people in therapy. Sometimes the most difficult and challenging of situations help us grow.

20.01.2022 It is reasonable and understandable to be feeling worried, or anxious with the current circumstances surrounding COVID-19. Most of us are going to be affected in one way or another, whether it is socially, financially or in regards to our health. In times like this it is important to be self reflective around our own anxieties and fear. One way of doing this is to reflect on what’s in our control and what is out of our control. It sure can be exhausting getting ‘stuck’ on things that we can’t change. A follow on from reflecting is then learning to sit with some things being out of your control. This is tricky for some people - but empowering as you see changes and progression in your tolerance for this.
