21.01.2022 Story and Photo compliments of Nhill Free Press and Kaniva Times CHANGE OF MANAGER FOR NHILL SUPA IGA Steve Wilson would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of you for the support over the past 6 years. He has made the decision to retire from Store management of Nhill Supa IGA.... In saying that, we would like to welcome Steve Braybrook to our team. Steve will take over as our new Store Manager on the 1st of July, 2021. We, as a business, are very fortunate to have a person of Steves experience to take over the management role at Nhill Supa IGA. Steve will commence on the 1st of July this year and work with the Department Managers and myself for 1 year, transitioning into the role over the next 12 months. I will be staying on as Director of the company and support to Steve. I will be in and out of town regularly. Steve said. Its a little bit scary. I have been working fulltime since l was 15 years old and l am going to find it very different not getting up and going to work each day. I actually woke up one morning recently and said to Sue, Do you know l will be 70 in 6 years? I think its about time we went and saw a bit more of Australia, Steve continued. We will move back to Ballarat next year and we are looking forward to spending some quality time with our elderly parents, children and 6 grandchildren. Nhill has been a great place to live over the past 6 years. The people of Nhill and surrounding districts have been so friendly. We have met so many lovely people and made many friends. Its the people of Nhill (and the weather) l will miss most. Steve Braybrook is eager to be working at Nhills supermarket. He commented, Steve and his team provide a fantastic service for the town. The supermarket is a vital hub in Nhill and the surrounding areas and a major employer and trainer of people. My first job was working Saturday mornings at Hoffmans Supermarket in the early 80s and it was a good start to my working life. As the transition takes place over the next year, Im looking forward to the challenge of learning the ropes of a new retail industry. A lot of work goes on behind the scenes to put stock on the shelves and it only gets done with a strong team. Im looking forward to becoming part of this team and helping to provide continuing strong customer service to our community. We wish Steve and Sue all the best for their transition to retired life and welcome Steve as Manager of Nhills Supa IGA.
