22.01.2022 Saturday pennant teams will not be selected until tomorrow night (Tues).

19.01.2022 On the 7th January 1961 Kevin Bye became a member of the Nhill Bowling Club and today marks the 60th anniversary of that date. Kevin has maintained his membership for the sixty consecutive years since then, all the while making an enormous contribution to the club on and off the greens. Last Saturday Kevin hosted a three bowl pairs event to mark the occasion which was well supported by an excellent turnout of members, friends, onlookers and some visitors from the Kaniva Bowling Club. Congratulations Kevin on this special milestone from all of the bowling community.

18.01.2022 Thursday social bowls will still go ahead tomorrow but will be starting early. Names should be at the club by 8:30 for a 9:00 a.m. start. We will be aiming for around a midday finish.

18.01.2022 The Nhill Bowling Club men’s pairs sectional rounds were completed today. Congratulations to the semi finalists who will play off tomorrow morning at 9:00 a.m. Darren Gebert and Terry Robins will play Herb Merrett and Malcolm Merrett. In the other final Phil Henseleit and Clint Beattie will take on Allan King and Barry Cramer. The final between the winning semi finalists will be played tomorrow after lunch at approximately 1:30 p.m.

15.01.2022 The rules have changed once again, masks must now be worn at all times whilst playing bowls! Click on the link at the bottom of the Bowls Victoria post for the latest information.

14.01.2022 After four rounds of Saturday pennant and five rounds of Midweek pennant Nhill teams have performed strongly. The reds, whites and blues are all holding top position on their respective ladders and the midweek team sits second on the ladder. The challenge for all of these teams is now to defend these positions till the end of the home and away season. 13.01.2022 The 2021 Night Series will begin on the first Thursday in January, COVID-19 restrictions permitting. Names are now being taken by the club. All are welcome to play in this popular event!

13.01.2022 An excellent field of nineteen members are competing in the men’s singles championship today. Plenty of great bowls being played in excellent conditions.

13.01.2022 Pennant teams for next week. The heat rule may come into effect this weekend with forecast high temperatures. If the forecast Saturday temperature for Nhill is 38 degrees or above, all pennant will be abandoned and points will be shared.

10.01.2022 "Nhill Free Press & Kaniva Times Night Series Update" There have been some changes to the format of the upcoming night series competition, please share this around to anyone that you know who intends to play.

10.01.2022 Christmas Bowls is this on Thursday evening. Make sure your name is in the tin or at the clubhouse by 6:30 p.m. to ensure that you get a game. Bowling starts at 7:00 p.m. sharp. Christmas bowls will be played in lieu Thursday morning social bowls.

04.01.2022 Nhill 3 (Blues) have received a walkover for Saturday! Blue's and Gold's bowlers are encouraged to play mixed social bowls on Saturday. Casual clothes will be the dress code, names should be in the tin by 1:00 p.m. and play will begin at 1:30 p.m.
