20.01.2022 Recently Nhill Fire Brigade recieved a small equipment grant from the Hindmarsh Shire Council for $1000.00 the Brigade purchased a new hose washer which enables the Brigade to clean our dirty/contaminated hoses after call outs and helps keeps the hoses in good condition ready to respond to jobs in a professional manner.

12.01.2022 Please share- On Wednesday 29th April 2020 at 5:40pm a number of Brigades across the state, including NHILL FB, will be sounding their Brigade Station Siren (four times) as a mark of respect to the four Victorian Police Officers who tragically lost their lives last week. #emergencyservicesfamily #victoriapolice #cfa... There is no reason to be concerned or alarmed should you hear one or more Brigade sirens sounding tomorrow at 5.40pm. When you hear the siren, pause with us as a sign of respect for the four Police Officers- Senior Constable Kevin King, Constable Glen Humphris, Leading Senior Constable Lynette Taylor and Constable Joshua Prestney.

02.01.2022 Nhill Fire Brigade got called to a House Fire at 2:53am when the Brigade arrived on scene the House was fully involved we worked on protecting neighbouring houses and the Brigade had the Fire under control in 20 Minutes. Its a timely reminder that WORKING SMOKE ALARMS SAVE LIFES the resident was woken by the smoke alarm and was able to evacuate safely.
