With the expected opening of the Nhill Aquatic Centre in the next week I am looking at running a 4 weeks block of swimming lessons, 2 nights a week from the 1st until the 21st of December! We had a blast As this is the last week of holidays it's almost time to hit the ground running and why not with swimming as well! I will be running Term 1 lessons every Thursday and Friday night from 4pm starting Thursday the 1st of Feb until Friday the 9th of March. Prices will be as following:... 17.01.2022 So proud of all my little fish this week! They have all made such fantastic progress! I have to share this video of O. Monday she screamed at the mention of putting her head under water...today she was voluntarily getting a sinker from the bottom of the pool with only a hand hold for security! Keep an eye out for Term 1 enrollments!

15.01.2022 Hi everyone It has come to my attention that the solar heating at the Aquatic Center has been damaged over winter and will not be up and running this season. I totally understand how cold the kids will get in the pool, however, I’d like to take the opportunity to discuss with students the areas of water around Nhill such as dams, rivers and lakes will not be heated, therefore understanding how to cope when the water isn’t an ideal 26+ degrees. Because of the water tempera...ture I am requesting that parents try to keep kids out of the water before their lesson so they’re not too cold to complete the lesson time. Please also try to arrive ready 10minutes early on cooler days in case lessons are running early. 05.01.2022 Well the weather is sticking to tradition, giving us less than desirable temperatures for our first two days of lessons and I currently have no voice HOWEVER, our pool operator assures me the water will be sitting around the mid 20s and I am resting to make sure I have some sort of voice for lessons See you all from 4pm onwards Wednesday and Thursday

04.01.2022 Hi Everyone - warning, this is a long post! I know Summer is getting closer and I have had parents enquire about swimming lessons in Term 4 so I best fill you all in on what’s happening! As you may know, Prouse Swim School is coming to Nhill to teach at the new indoor pool at the hospital. I have decided - with the birth of our second child - that it would be easier to work with Kerryn and her staff, rather than have 2 competing schools, we will work together. I will also be... returning to work after maternity leave so it’s going to be a very busy time! I am looking at working for Prouse one night a week during the school term and possibly a one week block in January at the aquatic center as I have run in the past. I do have a very limited amount of spaces to potentially run private lessons at the aquatic center one afternoon a week so please contact me ASAP if you would like one of these places.
