18.01.2022 A big "THANK YOU" to Sarah Ninnes, the BWS Manager in Nhulunbuy, for organising the Wine tasting fund raiser at the Boat Club on Sunday 2nd in August this year. Not only was the event a wonderfully successful Social Event, it was also a fantastic fundraiser for the Volunteers and Fur Babies of Nhulunbuy PAWS. They raised over $2000 and received heaps of great donations of fur baby goodies. The Volunteers at PAWS are so grateful!!! Thank you so much Sarah and BWS, what a lovely community spirit you have.......and hopefully the event might become a regular feature on the social calendar.........stay tuned!!!

14.01.2022 No dog wash this weekend. It’s too wet and when it’s not raining the mozzies are carrying us away !

13.01.2022 Plastic Sux will be at the PAWS dog wash tomorrow selling doggie boxes ($60) and doggie bandannas ($20). Come down between 9 and 12 to get your pooch the pawfect Christmas present. For every sale made $5 will be donated to PAWS.

13.01.2022 Dog wash is open SATURDAY morning from 9 to 12! Come down and let the dogs run off some energy before giving them a bath to get them smelling fresh :) The build up has definitely begun and it's too hot to be at dog wash on a Sunday afternoon so we have cancelled that session until things cool down again.

12.01.2022 Hiki Meet hiki, she is a beautiful staffy cross mix who was unfortunately left here with us at paws. She is now seeking her new forever home were she will be loved and made apart of someone’s life. Hiki is around 3 years old and recently desexed, she is extremely outgoing and friendly with people but feel she is best off in a home were she will be the only dog in the house. She has played with other dogs in the yard but can get a bit too much. Hiki is $200 for adoption with a 4 week settling in period. We would like to find this sweet girl a home as soon as possible, even though we adore her it’s time she found a comfy place to call home. 08.01.2022 ON TRIAL Meet Tiny! Tiny is super cute and would make an ideal companion dog with a little bit of obedience training. ... He gets along great with Kids and well with most other dogs. He absolutely loves his toys and plays very well. Tiny is well... Tiny! and because of that he is quite an impressive escape Artist. He will either need to be an inside dog, or go to a home with a VERY secure yard. If you think Tiny could be the little man for you contact us today!

05.01.2022 Bodhi We have recently had this beautiful girl surrendered to PAWS due to no fault of her own, Bodhi is a desexed 7 year old female ginger domestic short hair. She is extremely affectionate, loving and well toilet trained to the litter box, bodhi loves to have a pat and a cuddle with anyone she meets. We would love to find her a home being a completely indoor cat were she will be cherished. 04.01.2022 MISS POLLY Come down and meet this beautiful girl Polly, she is currently waiting for her furever family to whisk her away into a loving home. Polly is a 1 year old desexed kelpie shar pei mix, she is super outgoing with a lot of energy so would be best suited to a home were she will get daily exercise. Polly has been around other dogs but we feel she can get a bit overwhelmed so we would want her to go into a forever home were she would be the soul occupant of endless love and attention.
