24.01.2022 The Nhulunbuy Regional Sports Fishing Club 2020 Walkabout Lodge John Jones Memorial Billfish Challenge will be contested on the 12th & 13th of December. This year will see teams competing for the coveted title of Champion Team along with the major prize of a Shimano Game Fishing reel awarded to each angler of the winning team. Teams consisting of 2, 3 or 4 anglers will fish the waters around Gove for two great competitive days, this Billfish Challenge will show case the Regions highly regarded Billfish fishery challenging both angler and teams

22.01.2022 What a great weekend for fishing, and a great start to the September kids fishing comp with some awesome fish already caught by the kids. Young Connor O'halloran done well catching the first sailfish for the comp and missing a hookup on a black marlin in the morning aswell awesome effort mate For any kids wanting to enter this great little competition for the school holidays head into Gove Tackle and outdoors for your entry forms

20.01.2022 The East Arnhem Real Estate Barramundi Championship is officially finished there has been some great captures of Barramundi caught over the month well done to everyone who had entered. We now need all score cards and usb handed in ASAP to GTO or send us a message so the scores can be tallied to work out the barra champion. Presentation night will be held at the NRSFC club house on Friday the 9th of October doors will be open from 6pm and presentation to start at 7pm.

10.01.2022 The NRSFC Gove Tackle and Outdoors junior fishing comp is on now running right through till the end of school holidays. Fishing is permitted anywhere in Australia over the school break. You can enter anytime up until last day of school holidays simply head down to Gove Tackle and Outdoors for your entry forms.

10.01.2022 There is only a couple days left to nominate for this years Garmin Gove Game. A Reef section has also been added into this years event which has NO line class for it . Entry forms are still available at Gove Tackle and Outdoors. Briefing night is Wednesday the 11th November at the NRSFC club house.

07.01.2022 Anglers & Divers of Gove. Be aware of this lovely spot when entering the waters around East Bremer as there has been a 3m Crocodile spotted on the end of the island & large amounts of sharks feeding in the area due to an easy feed from this vessel as they process there catch.

This years competition seen 40 anglers make up the 14 teams for the event which was held over 8 days. Over the 8 days a total of 14 billfish were raised with 8 hooked and 3 landed, tagged and released. The Mystery fish species for the event was a cod which was caught by Noah Canobie which seen him walkaway with a 80lb Motorguide for his capture.
