15.01.2022 Hopefully not members of our community.

15.01.2022 A community survey has been recently released to try and better understand how Victoria Police could improve its service delivery. It was launch by Assistant Commissioner Tim Hansen from the Service Delivery Transformation Command and Chief Commissioner Patton. The survey is available via the following Engage Vic online platform: https://engage.vic.gov.au/transform/service-delivery-survey Through a relatively quick survey we are attempting to baseline our user demographic...s, their views on our services, how we currently deliver service and which types of policing activities would the community seek us to prioritise into the future. As Assistant Commissioner Hansen has stated .... 'Obviously the larger and more diverse the response pool we collate, the more valuable the data and insights become in influencing our thinking as to future design and messaging'. "

13.01.2022 It can be quite tough and rather scary knowing when your children are ready to transition to travelling to school or around your neighbourhood safely by themsel...ves. Thats where our new free interactive e-learning platform can help - Neighbourhood Watch 4 Kids (Victoria) at www.nhw4kidsvic.com.au Neighbourhood Watch 4 Kids is an interactive learning journey parents and kids can do together to improve safety knowledge, increase confidence and empower your child to trust their instincts and react appropriately to unsafe situations. There are quizzes, games, activities, resources and a range of scenarios to explore. You can even plan a walking or riding route together. Neighbourhood Watch 4 Kids (Victoria) is based on a Neighbourhood Watch Northern Territory initiative. #backtoschool

12.01.2022 If you follow the Neighbourhood Watch Victoria (NHWVic) Facebook page, you may have noticed that you can no longer see their posts. Unfortunately, the NHWVic page has been caught up in the dispute between Facebook and the Federal Government over proposed new media bargaining laws. That means Australians are now blocked from seeing NHWVic Facebook posts. If you would still like to receive regular updates from NHWVic, here’s how. 09.01.2022 UPDATE: Ambulance Victoria is experiencing an extremely high demand for ambulances in the metropolitan region. All Code 1 (the most urgent and critically unwell...) patients are being seen in a timely manner. However there are delays for Code 2 and 3 patients, who may require assistance but do not have a life threatening illness. We take this opportunity to remind the community to please call NURSE ON CALL (1300 60 60 24) or visit their local GP service if their illness is not an emergency. Our number one priority is to provide care to the sickest Victorians who require lifesaving assistance. We thank the community and media for sharing this message and helping us save Triple Zero (000) for emergencies.
