20.01.2022 Australia has had 16 years of Nia White Belt Trainings! And currently we are so incredibly fortunate to able to have the in-person version of this training. There is a training in Kingscliff in April and another in Brisbane in July. Yes, you are ready for it!

19.01.2022 During the summer holidays the South Coast is like a second home to us Canberrans. This is their January Nia timetable. They love it when we drop in for a class or two!

19.01.2022 Nia is a completely unique fitness program that tones and trims the body superbly, through pleasure, not pain.

18.01.2022 #TBT From the "Origins of Nia" by Debbie Rosas: "Through moving barefoot, we gained a new appreciation for our feet and the natural heel- ball-toe movements th...at eliminate impact and cushion body weight. We developed a new relationship with gravity, a new awareness of the vast ranges and planes of movement, which offered rich possibilities for comprehensively and systemically toning the body. We began to grasp the totality of movement and space, to feel and perceive the body, not simply as isolated parts, but as a whole, affected throughout by the most innocuous of movements. The human foot is a magical work of design. 26 bones, 33 joints, 7000 nerve endings, 3 arches and the ability to support us through life as our foundation for stability and movement. Scientific studies that life is better barefoot continue to support the research that inspired Debbie in 1983 to take off her aerobics shoes and follow the design of the body in creating Nia for optimal health, healing and alignment.

16.01.2022 My class on Tuesday is still on! Sadly, it will be the last for the time being.

11.01.2022 My classes will continue to be on. I believe Nia is something we need now more than ever. To be in community, to move in healing and healthy ways, to experience the flow of Joy through our body, to have a laugh, to be in love not fear. We can do this thoughtfully and responsibly:... ~ stay home if you are unwell (fever and cough are the two main symptoms) or are at risk ~ wash hands before and after class ~ greet each other with an elbow bump and a smile ~ the choreography will be organised so we are not gathered close together or touching hands ~ you are welcome to bring your own mat for the end of class If you are unable to come to class there is NiaTV. Nia HQ are kindly offering a 1 month free trial period with the ability to cancel at any time www.niatv.fit Stay well See more
