10.01.2022 Friends of "Nicabelas Revisited" Im reaching out today to ask your immediate help. ************************* Support for tourism and genuinely needed employment! ... It’s a fact that Unemployment in Portland is at an all-time high at this unprecedented time! This petition was created by a young local man who has just finished his studies and lives in the area and who wants a promising future. He and most of his friends have come to the realisation that they are now being forced to leave their hometown in order to find real work and make a good living as there is barely any work in the area. They don’t want to leave the place they grew up in and they are seeking genuine support on a decision that goes to council next week for sign off so tourism can re-ignite. They love the project and they want a future they can work for. It’s time to support the young people in this country who actually want to have a future and to create a future. I urge you to please sign this petition and pass on to as many people as possible over the next 3 days who want our young people working and who want local tourism not to die in Victoria.
