20.01.2022 Round 7 of the ARG E-Sport cup started off well qualifying in 6th. Race 1 I moved up to 4th off the start! Everything came unstuck in Race 1 when my pit limiter wouldn’t activate. Result - 36th after a pit lane infringement. Race 2 I was involved in just about every shunt. I finished in 25th with a heavily damaged car. Onto round 8 next week at Silverstone! ... @one_performance_racing @hoganprestigecars @transamarg Melbourne Performance Centre

18.01.2022 Mixed results last night in the ARG E-Sport Cup. The TCR started off well before a lap one incident ultimately ended our race. Despite a bad run in the TCR car, I had a great race in the @hoganprestigecars Formula 3. Qualifying in 9th I worked my way forward to finish 2nd. Solid points haul which has put myself 10th in the standings currently. ... Shout out to @twosixonedesigns for the new lid design! 05.01.2022 OUR DRIVERS OPEN UP ON MENTAL HEALTH Ben Blackburn Racing has today made the following donations: Lifeline $100... Headspace $100 Kids Helpline $100 "All of our drivers are in the 17-25 age group and we have seen a number of tragic suicides across Australia in this age bracket in recent weeks, so we would like to start a wider conversation on mental health," Ben Blackburn said. "We are sending the message very loud and clear: 'You are not alone. Your life matters. Its okay not to be okay and to reach out for help'. "I asked each of our drivers to share their own experiences and thoughts on mental health," Ben said. Our Ambassador and Supercars driver Andre Heimgartner said: "It is pretty concerning to think that 75% of mental health issues develop before a person turns 25. Being in my mid 20’s myself I can certainly understand the mental challenges we face in the forever changing world we find ourselves in. I myself have struggled with mental health at various times during my life, as many of us have. So there is certainly a need to start a conversation about youth mental health and to highlight the importance of having more support services for all people who may be struggling during COVID," Andre said. There was a 28 per cent spike in calls to the phone counselling service Kids Helpline between March and July 2020 compared with the same period last year and a 19 per cent jump from July to August compared with the previous month. More than three-quarters of Australians say their mental health worsened during the first period of the COVID-19 crisis, one study has found. Black Dog Institute at the University of New South Wales surveyed more than 5,000 people about how they coped during the outbreak’s first phase. Four-in-five respondents felt very uncertain about the future and 78 per cent reported a deterioration in their own mental health. Right now, Australians are turning to crisis hotline Lifeline more than ever before, with calls increasing by 25 per cent compared to last year. Lifeline is Australia’s largest crisis line they will receive well over one million calls this year, so a 25 per cent increase is significant. Reigning Porsche PAYCE Carrera Cup Australia Champion Jordan Love, who now races in the Porsche Supercup in Europe said: "Mental health has and is impacting so many lives across Australia and the world right now. Any loss of life is tragic and I hope everyone together can help to bring more awareness to something that is effecting so many people across Australia. This gives me the opportunity to voice that there are support services available through organisations like Lifeline, Kids Helpline and Headspace. The best thing to do is to talk," Jordan said. Sonic Racing Driver and Michelin Junior Aaron Love, who currently sits 3rd in the 2020 Porsche PAYCE Carrera Cup Championship, said: "Mental health I would argue is the most important part in living a healthy lifestyle. Unfortunately, and especially during these tragic times the number of people who suffer from a mental illness has sky rocketed, this has lead to some absolutely devastating situations. It is most often the people who you least expect to suffer from something as brutal as this. That is why I stand to help raise awareness to people know that their is so much help and support out there. Organisations such as Lifeline, Kids Helpline and Headspace are just some of the many resources and services which people in need can use on their toughest of days. Never be afraid to speak up and ask for help," Aaron said. Super3 driver with MW Motorsport Jay Robotham said: "Mental illness is a very serious topic that is sometimes taken too lightly in youth. COVID has massively impacted people, especially the ones that are stuck in their homes in lockdown. Many people I know have dealt with personal issues and it’s hard for them to reach out. This needs to be brought up in conversation and normalised to allow people to reach out and speak out about what is going on in their lives," Jay said. Nic Carroll said: "Mental Health issues are extremely prevalent in not only Australian society but globally. Despite the various combinations of mental illnesses they all share extreme ramifications. It is crucial we as a society direct the attention it requires and continue to promote the help from professionals and health experts that is readily available and accessible. Lifeline, Headspace and Kids Helpline are all really great services which continue to make a significant difference and prompt people and young kids from all spectrums to reach out and find their voice which is so important!" Nic said. Support is available 24/7, so please call: Lifeline 13 11 14 Headspace (03) 9027 0100 Kids Helpline 1800 55 1800 Lifeline headspace Kids Helpline Official

04.01.2022 About time to shift some gears!

04.01.2022 Shock that the Adelaide 500 will be no longer! Glad I got to race at the circuit for the first time this year, sad it was the first and last.

03.01.2022 Hopefully I won’t need @jimmygolding to push me across the line tomorrow night! Round 9 of the ARG e-Sport Cup is at Imola tomorrow in both the Audi TCR and Dallara F3. @transamarg @one_performance_racing
