03.01.2022 ‘A little progress each day, adds up to big results.’ This is a quote I’ve had to remind myself of lately. Starting a business, working full time and being a wife and mother of 2 and all that comes with it has meant a lot of things are put on the back burner. I don’t have much time for myself or my house. Most days I’m treading water trying to get things done. The washing piles up, the house gets untidy and my stress increases as I see my home in a mess. But I’m learning, a...lbeit slowly, to let some things go. I might only get one load of washing done today, or have time to only sweep and not mop, or maybe I won’t get that pantry cleaned out but I’ll get the dinner made at a reasonable time. And before I know it, these little progressions start to alleviate my stress. Taking things each day, one thing at a time and giving myself a break will add up to big results.. eventually. And it’s still one less thing I need to do tomorrow. See more
