15.01.2022 Happy World Engineering Day To all the amazing land development, structural, traffic, acoustic, drainage, fire [have we forgotten some ] engineers we work with across our niche projects!!! 15.01.2022 2021, has already been throwing us some curve balls - but we’re up for the challenge!!! Our first week back at work this week was like no other! Our amazing Office Manager @juliettecapomolla was kept busy trying to figure out *could we/couldn’t we* [go back into the office] and that may seem like a little thing but we had to make sure covid plans were written, electricity and WiFi turned back on, cleaning schedules updated... the list goes on! And then they told us *...hold on* you can only go back if you all wear masks for eight hours while in the office. Argh!!!! So back to home offices we went and we’ll try again next week!!! 14.01.2022 On sunny days we do site visits with clients [!!!] and for this one, we’re working with a long standing niche client [one of our favs actually ] Instead of the 2000 lot subdivisions we normally help him with, he’s asked us to work on a permit for his home! So we’ve been busily meeting and reviewing plans with @schmidtpangarchitects to create an amazing place for him and his family to love and cherish. 07.01.2022 What an amazing woman! That’s three Niche-years with Celia as our leader/ manager/ boss/ confidante/ extremo-planner and what a crazy 3 years it’s been! Celia/CK started at a time when the company was growing, then lending controls hit and Developers stopped buying land so we diversified and in addition to our greenfield and infill work realised we bloody loved regional planning!!! So during Covid we worked hard, employed staff and increased our work in... the regions... and in her 4th year CK will be fronting our Ballarat office!
