25.01.2022 Poster design for Karin Schmid's 2020 Adelaide Fringe production "Taboo", playing at Treasury 1860 until March 4

25.01.2022 Made new cover for "The Dark Age" issue 0, for Red 5 Comics and Don Handfield, Free Comic Book Day 2019

25.01.2022 "The Dark Age" issue 1 released last week at Red5Comics, and incoming reports suggest it's already sold out! Made a slew of variant covers too for issue 1, here's one for Paper Asylum

25.01.2022 Drew a pretty lady and made this poster for the Adelaide Theatre Academy's upcoming production of Little Shop of Horrors for the 2018 Adelaide Fringe Festival. I'll look back on 2017-2018 as "the Drool Years" I think

24.01.2022 Issue 4 cover and two-tone variant cover design for "The Source", written by Don Handfield and Joshua Malkin, published by Scout Comics (June 2019)

24.01.2022 S is for scraps from a recent branding job. Allusions of infinity and concentricity

24.01.2022 new poster for Red Phoenix Theatre

23.01.2022 Unused logo concept

22.01.2022 Mystery promo cards made for Red Phoenix Theatres recent season of The Man From Earth, scattered about town mysteriously

20.01.2022 Another variant cover for "The Dark Age" (Don Handfield/Motor/Armory Films/Red5Comics) - has been a hard and fast year turning out six regular covers, six variants and a Free Comic Book Day cover since January just for this book (so far!), but I'm always grateful when this sort of work lands on my desk

19.01.2022 Made a poster and some other things for Endeavour College's recent 2018 school production "Before Upon a Time", a bright, fun and colourful rock and roll musical spectacular set in the school days of some of history's most beloved fairytale characters.

19.01.2022 Unused icon for Ex Machina

19.01.2022 A logo pitch for a sound recordist from last year. We went with something a lot simpler and more practical in the end, but I always had love for this #branding #audiovisual

19.01.2022 Logo design for production company MOTOR

17.01.2022 Brand design for new craft brewery "Beer No Evil", including product labels, stationery and merchandise

17.01.2022 My cover for issue 2 of "The Source" (Don Handfield/Joshua Malkin) out today from Scout Comics

17.01.2022 Another WIP from last week, drawing the set for "The Conspirators" onto the walls for Red Phoenix at Holden Street Theatres

16.01.2022 cover for Issue 1 of The Dark Age for Red 5 Comics, scheduled for stores early August. "In the near future all metal on earth suddenly turns to worthless piles of rust and dust. With no technology, no guns, no computers, humanity reverts to a violent feudal system. Each pocket of civilization is ruled by knights of wood & glass & concrete. This is the new Dark Age."

16.01.2022 Regular cover for comic "The Source" issue 3 and its companion variant, for Don Handfield/Scout Comics. Made these in March I think, released ages ago

16.01.2022 new poster for Red Phoenix Theatre Inc.'s "The Conspirators" by Vaclav Havel. Some good old Czech dissident theatre in the hands of wonderful actors

15.01.2022 Trade paperback cover design for "The Source" (Scout Comics/Motor - December 2019)

12.01.2022 Whats in the box?? Well get on over to our Kickstarter and find out! Only 40 hrs left for the chance to bring the Unikorns to life!! #kickstarter #unikorn https://www.kickstarter.com//unikorn-a-story-of-faith-love

11.01.2022 Thrilled to hear that Anna Thomas has received 4.5 stars and 5 stars for her Adelaide Fringe show How To Drink Wine Like a Wanker. I cobbled together this poster for her late last year. I think the remaining Feb shows have more or less sold out, but March still has some tickets

10.01.2022 New poster design for Red Phoenix Theatre's May-June season of Camus' "Caligula", opening at Holden Street Theatres later this week. I try to resist blood in posters for the most part, but once in a while, I'm all, "yeah, needs blood"

10.01.2022 a quick'n dirty for Independent Theatre's staged play-reading of Peter Shaffer's AMADEUS

09.01.2022 Put my set designer shoes on last week and scribbled all over the walls of Holden Street Theatres for Red Phoenix Theatre Inc. and their production of Havel's "The Conspirators", some weird and wonderful Czech political theatre. Still playing this week so get along!

08.01.2022 Second variant cover I made for the Unikorn Kickstarter, though one uses The Source for its title, since the two sets of stories share the same universe

07.01.2022 Bryan Singer with a cover I put together for FCBD a few months back, with a little bit of Rift and a little bit of Soze

07.01.2022 This is the first of two variant covers I illustrated for new comic "The Source" (written by Don Handfield and Joshua Malkin, published by Scout Comics). This cover glows in the dark. The variants were released simultaneously with the primary issue last week (see my last post for the main issue) and all sold out straight away. Crazy stuff.

06.01.2022 Very excited that Unikorn (a new graphic novel I'm doing covers for) is going to be this.

05.01.2022 Recent publication design for Adelaide Metropolitan Area Kerbside Waste Performance Report for Green Industries SA (say that quickly). A row of all three categories of council-issue waste collection bins (yes, no one puts them all out at once, although every yellow week, I never fail to spot green bins), with shadows of varying lengths subtly hinting at a bar graph metric, as a nod to performance analysis.

04.01.2022 Made some new comic covers for "The Source", the new book from Don Handfield and Joshua Malkin, published by Scout Comics. Released a couple of days ago and I hear it's already sold out. This is the primary cover, but I created two additional Variant covers for issue 1, including a glow in the dark one, which were released simultaneously with issue 1. Will stick them up shortly. Lots more on the way from this book.

04.01.2022 In other fun news, 'The Rift' (the first comic I made covers for back in 2016 for Don Handfield, Richard Rayner and Jeremy Renner) was picked up by Steven Spielberg and has been produced as episode one of Amblin/Universal/Apple's reboot of Amazing Stories, airing at the start of March on Apple TV+

03.01.2022 Teen Wolf. One of a several little doodles I did for a promotional colouring book, as part of Endeavour College's collateral for their 2018 school production "Before Upon a Time"

03.01.2022 As well as the regular cover for "Unikorn", I've was also asked to make a bunch of variants. This one is based on the covers I made for "The Source", because the two graphic novels share the same universe. So after the first six days, Don and Josh's Kickstarter is about 60% of the way to its target! https://www.kickstarter.com//unikorn-a-story-of-faith-love

02.01.2022 Made some things. Swag from USA, which is particularly exciting because this is actually the first time I've seen some of these in print

02.01.2022 The second variant cover I created for Issue 1 of The Source

01.01.2022 The first of my covers for Motor's new comic "The Source", released much earlier in the year as the cover for the Ashcan.
