17.01.2022 Vic caravan parks now taking temp checks to keep guests safe Victorian caravan parks are now safer than ever after the Victorian government provided thermometer...s for operators to use at check-in. Guests will now be tested to ensure temperatures are below 37.5C before being invited in. A high fever is one symptom of coronavirus. The Victorian Chief Health Officer has advised Victorians that they may travel within the state these school holidays, as long as they are healthy. Anyone presenting with symptoms of coronavirus, even if they are mild, must stay home and get tested. Victorian caravan parks continue to use the guest declaration form to also support staff and guest health and safety. Operators will request that bookings complete that form 24 hours before arriving. They also grant wishes to those beautiful children, in many different ways. And most importantly they have helped our friends in a time when we could not physically be there with them. Now for those playing along at home, Cory has made a comment. If we raise over $6000, he will complete the 4 hour enduro AGAIN this weekend! Cory thinks he is safe.... but I think we can do it Let’s ride!

01.01.2022 It was a lovely morning to have a walk. Having made representations earlier this week, the good news is kayaking, canoeing, paddle boarding and rowing are now a...llowed while all social distancing rules and gathering numbers must be observed. My video this morning mentions windsurfing after I received a verbal that it was ok, but the latest advice (as of this afternoon) is windsurfing and kite surfing are being (re)considered as they fall into the non human powered category, so best to hold off on them for now until clarified. Although all the information has not changed on line, it will, and I have direct email confirmation from the Chief Health Officer, Brett Sutton, that these activities (kayaking, canoeing, paddleboarding and rowing) are OK. I have also made approaches to the Victorian Fishing Authority and Government for land based fishing, golf and other activities to be reviewed as they are allowed in every other state and territory under travel and other restrictions.
