23.01.2022 Just a reminder to all ASMQ clients & everyone everywhere to be vigilant with your home & or business. 1 of our clients that we installed a monitored alarm syst...em for approximately 15 months ago in Hillcrest less than 500 metres from ASMQ office owns a AIR B N B and they have had little to no income from the home since approximately March due to lockdowns with state borders closed & no international tourists, they have also been considering cancelling the monitoring due to no income. On Friday morning at 08.23 the 24/7 grade 1 monitoring centre received an alarm from the double front doors & lounge within 40 seconds they had my client on the phone that lives on the Gold Coast who was then able to view the front doors from the intercom via an app on her phone & she was able to verify to the monitoring centre that there were 2 males that kicked the doors open. Good ending the police were called & arrived within 5 minutes to not find anyone in the house they had bolted & our client had to drive up to meet the police that waited until her arrival. Pictures of the duo were then supplied to the police from her front door intercom & the double timber doors were dusted & the police knew who they were & have since been arrested. We were contacted after this was broken into 15 months ago and there was no alarm & many thousands of $ damage was done with doors smashed, walls kicked in, outdoor loungers & chairs thrown into the pool & my client just advised they are still waiting for the insurance to pay out from the previous break n enter 15 months ago before the monitored alarm system was installed. These are not rich people by any means but are close to retirement age if not already but the husband has to keep working regardless of him being of age to retire. The home is a very nice home but as it is right next to a council park with high 6 ft fences all sides except the front it is high risk as everyone that goes to the park on a regular basis would notice that there is never any activity going on there, no cars in the driveway since March, Nothing except the lawns being mowed when required. The guys that broke in probably thought they would live there, nice fully furnished home sleeps up to 12 people, swimming pool and all the home comforts anyone needs. On this occasion having the monitored alarm system in place they bolted, No damage done except replacing the digital electronic lock on the front doors being approx $100.00 or less to replace. This is why i do what i do & have done for 34 years the satisfaction of preventing a break & enter or if they still decide to have a go with a monitored alarm system they will be very limited to what they can get if anything. Very happy for my client as she is so relieved also not having to go through all the repairs like last time.

06.01.2022 Another Dorani video intercom installation today. Connects to wifi network & if not answered on site it will divert to an app on your phone so you can answer remotely.
