25.01.2022 Day 16 - Accountability - 183 Pushups. Ergh. Due to being sick for most of the day I waited literally until the very last minute to get these done, with the video timestamp being 11.54pm. These hurt like a busted, but got them all out. ... Not long left guys, but still time to donate - link is in the bio. #pushforbetter #pushup #challenge #183 #armsworkout #chestworkout #gains #FuckYeah

22.01.2022 The final piece in my own personal trilogy. Lucinda takes a #covid_19 belated place on my arm. These three beautiful and wholly unique humans are everything to me. Time for sleep, rest, and what looks like 180-something tomorrow. #DoItForThem #responsibility #Determined #motivation

21.01.2022 More than 90 seconds, but worth the time..

20.01.2022 Day 20 - 164 PUSHUPS yesterday. Last one today coming soon...

20.01.2022 Back on the Sprint 8 bandwagon at the gym. I try to end every workout I do with a 20 minute sprint 8 session, which involves a 3 minute walk in warm up, follow by 8 increasing levels of 30 second sprint, followed by 90 second cool down walk back to back, followed by a 60 second cooldown to finish. This little bit of cardio each day I'm there is something I've been avoiding, and to be honest with myself, Ive felt it, both physically and on the scales. ... Back on that horse, and each level on the graph gives a score based on incline and speed, which can be overridden on the fly, with a final score given at the end The first picture is back on the horse on Sunday. The second picture is when I was flying along about 9 months ago, and is a PB. The goal is to be SOLIDLY ahead of that highest score in one months time. #accountability #running #ouch #comfortablebeinguncomfortable #ruleonecardio #cardio #fitness #snapfitnesspacificpines #snapfitness @ Snap Fitness Pacific Pines

19.01.2022 Thought for the day: "If you see me less, that means I'm doing more." Thought for the day: "If you see me less, that means I'm doing more."

17.01.2022 Day 19 124 PUSHUPS. $124.50 is the maximum rebate per mental health GP Visit. ... One of the few times I would happily push for more. See you tomorrow guys. Just two more days to go.

11.01.2022 Day 21 - final day - 105 PUSHUPS. MENTAL HEALTH FACT Today’s target is 105 push-ups: It’s possible that getting 15 minutes of bright sunlight each morning could reduce levels of mental distress. 15 minutes, 7 days...that’s 105 minutes of sunshine per week! There are a lot of factors that could be at work here to make sunlight a mood booster, including effects on your circadian rhythm, Vitamin D, or just being outside- getting into nature for a few hours per week can also hel...p out your mental health. Whatever the reason- just be sensible! Sunburn doesn’t improve anything. That's 3046 over 21 days. Im so pleased I got through the entire challenge and will be reflecting on the significance of it soon. However, for now I rest - an arms comparison might be also on the cards.

08.01.2022 Pushup Challenge catchup and wrap for the last few days. Talk to me if you need somebody to talk too.

05.01.2022 2020 isn't a setback.. well.. not for personal development and growth... In my opinion, It's been an opportunity to look inside ourselves. You don't have to like yourself all the time. ... But you need to LOVE yourself to grow, succeed and become your best you. Get out there and own it, crush, it, and grow it.. #90SecondsWithNick

01.01.2022 Day 18 - 232 pushups. A stupid amount. But. Pales in comparison to the 2320 deaths mentioned below... ... Fucking hell that's a staggeringly high amount.. MENTAL HEALTH FACT Of the 3046 push-ups you or your team are completing this year, 2320 of them represent men who lost their life to suicide in Australia in 2018. That’s over 75% of the total. Women experience mental health issues at higher rates than men, but men are less likely to seek help for them. Some spaces within our communities exist especially to support the mental health of the men in our lives, like the Men’s Shed. Men’s Sheds provide open workspaces where men can socialise, work, or help out their communities. If you or a male you know needs to talk to someone about mental health, Mensline is a national service for men providing referrals, counselling and support. Call 1300 78 99 78 (24 hours a day). https://mensshed.org/
