21.01.2022 A cabinet maker has proven that kindness is alive and well after he created and donated wooden toy kits to a school dealing with a tough situation. Frances Prim...ary School had to adapt to a unique situation after the border closure was announced earlier this month. The closure meant that half of the students couldn't attend their South Australian school because they resided in Victoria. But that's when Naracoorte cabinet maker Jordan stepped in. Without being asked, and by using his own money, time and resources, Jordan spent his weekend creating and assembling wooden toy kits to donate to the school. It meant that the kids could take part in practical learning remotely. As you can see, the children benefited greatly from this random act of kindness. On behalf of the Department, the students and the teachers, THANK YOU Jordan.

21.01.2022 I know the past few weeks have been challenging for many South Australians. From day one we have been clear that we do not want any restrictions in place for o...ne day longer than they need to be. So I’m pleased to confirm that on Tuesday, December 1, restrictions in South Australia will be easing. These changes will only be in place for 2 weeks as we chart our course towards Christmas. The South Australian border restrictions with Victoria will be lifted completely from Tuesday, 1 December. I know this will be a huge relief to many families, business and communities as we head into the holiday season. But I continue to stress this point: we can and we must continue to act on the unequivocal health advice to keep SA safe and strong. I am so proud that we have worked together to beat this silent enemy, and to get through this united.
