25.01.2022 Couple of decks done locally over the last few weeks, one composite and one spotted gum.

24.01.2022 Quick front yard fake turf install in a day. Didn’t think we’d get it done but the hard work of VDL and Hayesy we got there. Client should come home very pleased.

23.01.2022 Nice little fake turf job in Mt Hawthorn. Real lawn had not grown there and had been replaced twice due to shade and kid traffic. Now this will stay green all year round and give the kids a nice footing for their trampoline.

21.01.2022 Great new composite deck for some happy clients in Dianella. Half laid on existing concrete patio, the rest on new sub floor. Thanks to VDL’s Home Handyman Services and Gaffo for their assistance. Zero maintenance.

21.01.2022 I had to let one of my most loyal employees go today and it saddens me to do it so close to Christmas. She is the best worker I’ve had, never missed a day, ever reliable, pulled her own weight and more, dropped the kids to school, kept me warm and dry in winter and cool in summer, but her time was up. She was of no use to me after four years so I traded her in and got a younger model. She is a little bigger but suits my needs perfectly. Farewell Bessie but hello Shaniqua.

20.01.2022 Nice little front yard makeover. Removed the old paving which was cactus and full of little garden beds. Replaced with some beautiful natural stone, wet laid and some clean aluminium edging to keep the mulch off the paving. Thanks to VDL’s Retic and Ben Cooper paving. Client is stoked with her new easy care front yard.

20.01.2022 New build whole garden makeover. Front garden now a useable space with a bit of retaining clad in composite decking, sir Walter buffalo lawn and a nice muraya hedge. Back yard was all about space for the boys to run around. I think we achieved that and more. Some nice Kay Paris magnolias to help block out the neighbours along the back fence and a nice Japanese box hedge along the alfresco.

19.01.2022 Client wanted a big deck. We delivered. Composite newtechwood, colour silver grey to match the roof. Lawn and garden to come. Thanks to Gaffo and VDL for their efforts in the heat.

18.01.2022 Nice makeover in Mt Hawthorn. Got rid of some dreaded cottonwoods which gave the clients an extra 2 meters of space across the whole back. Planted some Sir Walter buffalo turf, replaced the old retic system with a water efficient one. Planted some dwarf Kay Paris magnolias and planted Muraya hedge in between. Paved an area for a futur shed. Thanks VDL’s Reticulation.

16.01.2022 Hillarys job finally finished. Heat nearly killed us but great to get the garden in before relatives arrive for Christmas. Thanks again to VDL’s Retic and the clients for their hard graft as well. Many hands make light work.

16.01.2022 I forgot to award the 2019, best garden makeover/ new garden for Nicks Forevergreen Gardens. With some strong contenders throughout the year, the clients up in Hillarys took out the award. Turned a sand pit into a classic. Will stand the test of time and with the bulk of it being done in 40 degree weather in December that tipped it over the edge. Thanks to VDLs Retic & Handyman and Gaffo for their efforts. A small shout out to the clients who braved the conditions and helped us out as well. You not only get the glory of winning, but you get the limited edition branded bottle opener.

15.01.2022 Quick little garden makeover. Palmetto buffalo lawn and a jarrah raised deck. Young kids will have a great time on the lawn while the parents sit on the deck with a cold beverage. Thanks to VDL’s Home Handyman Services and Gaffo for their assistance.

07.01.2022 Nice front yard makeover in Mt Hawthorn. Garden hadn’t been touched since 1984. New Sir Walter buffalo lawn, new Retic system, new plants and a modern style picket fence. It has become the talk of the neighbourhood.

04.01.2022 Nice little backyard makeover in Subiaco. Block only 5 meters wide but with some good design and neat lines it looks bigger than you think.

04.01.2022 Nice little front yard makeover. Had an old garden that blocked their egress from their cars. Dwarf magnolia will grow nicely and Sir Walter buffalo to cool down the area. Bit of manure and mulch for the existing roses and some new Retic installed by VDL’s reticulation.

03.01.2022 Nice little Japanese inspired courtyard, in an unused area that guests will now be able to look at as the walk down the hall.

03.01.2022 Spring has spring and some would say summer has come early. Your garden and lawn need some help. You can wetta soil, fertilise and top dress your lawn. You can wetta soil, manure and mulch your garden beds. Check your reticulation to make sure there’s no breaks or leaks. All easy jobs you can do over a weekend.
