16.01.2022 My clients are often complaining about their body shape of being cursed with bad genes. While you can't change your body TYPE, you certainly can change your body SHAPE through body sculpting. I naturally have big arms (I never train biceps or triceps) so to create the illusion of smaller arms I'm working on building bigger shoulders. This concept can be applied to almost any body part.

13.01.2022 We all want to look good but, how about how we function? Most people start up an exercise routine to improve the way they look but, most people stay at the gym because of how they feel. Function training is a great way to improve your overall fitness and strength. Functional training allows you to work your muscles on different planes (hitting different angles) and building strength in those "stabilizer" muscles as well as the main target muscle. Machines are pre-set using only the muscle and angle that the machine allows. Multi-plane exercises are more complex movements and more closely mimic movements that are used in everyday life. One of my favourite functional exercises is the kettle windmills.
12.01.2022 Workout Wednesday. Nothing better on a wet day like today than to get the heart pumping. I'm loving the sled and ropes @Fitnessfirst at the moment. Here is my blood pumping, heart racing, booty building Wednesday workout. 30min as many rounds as possible... 1 x sled pull 1 x sled push 10 x battle rope squats 10 x battle rope burpies Happy hump day!

06.01.2022 Throw back Thursday, to my very first comp! I was absolutely terrified, I almost cried on stage. I didn't want to turn around, all I could think was that I had a large 'mummy bum'! Looking at these now, I couldn't be more proud, I worked damn hard and completely deserved to be up there. I didn't come anywhere near placing but, I gained SO much more than a trophy - self confident. From that day forward I can hostelry say I have never put myself down again. No matter what your shape or size, each and every one of you are beautiful, sometimes we just can't see it ourselves.

04.01.2022 So after a 3 week boozy holiday in London, I'm knocking alcohol on the head for a few weeks (this is by way the best way to get your health back on track, not to mention dropping those extra unwanted holiday kilos). So money that would have no doubt gone towards a few nights out this weekend has been much better spent stocking up on lean protein, good fats, lovely veg and some supplements. 03.01.2022 I'm having a lovely afternoon with the kids at Love Coogee. Sitting on the white deck furniture, enjoying the breeze while the kids chatter away happily and ice cream drops down their hands. Then the young girls next to us light a cigarette!!! Moment ruined . I'm still so shocked with all the facts we have about smoking, that people still feel the need to abuse their bodies. I'm not judging, it's just sad.
