13.01.2022 These amazing loaves were made by Manish following Saturday’s workshop. It was a little intimidating for a home cook having a baker and Chef join the class but he was very kind and taught us some new ways to shape dough. Thank you Manish. Thanks also to Charlie, Madhiva and Nicole for sharing stories about food, travel and other good things it was a wonderful morning.

03.01.2022 SOURDOUGH WORKSHOPS FOR MAY Wednesday 12th May 10am-12 Sunday 16th May 10am-12 Tuesday 25th May 6-8pm I have made some changes to my workshops for this month.... You will learn form a teacher with 10 years experience making sourdough bread. You will learn everything you need to know to make your own sourdough at home. You will enjoy a tasting plate including a selection of sourdough delicacies. You will receive several recipes to take home. You will receive your own sourdough starter (please bring a glass or plastic container to carry this home). Both Thermomix and hand methods will be demonstrated. Cost $30 per person. 01.01.2022 This super quick ice cream cake is based on Nigella Lawson’s One-Step No-Churn Coffee Icecream. I made a chocolate version and added chopped up timtams to make an icecream cake for my son’s birthday. It took less than 1 1/2 minutes to buzz it up in the Thermomix but I am allowing another half minute for you to chop and add the timtams! I used: 397g condensed milk 680g whipping cream 4 tablespoons cocoa... 4 tablespoons hot water 1-2 teaspoons vanilla extract Pinch salt Thanks Nigella! See more
