16.02.2022 Yep, it was cold enough yesterday in Ballarat to wear a woollen vest and longsleeve top! Warm again today and making the most of the rest of summer Just letting everyone know we’ve changed our shop hours this year to 11-4 WED-FRI & 11-3 SAT. See you there sometime!

11.02.2022 Me and my not so little person having a wonderful well earned beach break. I’m loving watching her grow into a young adult and so proud of the kind, compassionate human she is. My design sounding board, body surfing buddy and greatest creation! watch out for her T-shirts, shopping totes and cards coming in late Jan!

01.02.2022 A big Happy New Year to you all! AND a huge thanks to everyone for their amazing support through what has been a tough year for so many. We survived our first year in retail and the second year of the pandemic, both of which we’re eternally grateful for. See you in 2022 for the next instalment

30.01.2022 Officially winding down

23.01.2022 What a flower! A winning combo, the Waratah reimagined on our ever popular satchel.

13.01.2022 Wouldn’t you love to live in this beautiful Bunninyong house? I would, it would be a dream come true. It’s the home of our friend and multi-talented mosaic artist/model Camilla Watson @made_by_mill AND as luck has it, it’s for sale! Yesterday we had the great pleasure of pretending we lived there for a few hours while we shot our lovely new rugs. My god, it is a stunning home with a view to die for. Anyone rethinking life in Melbourne should seriously consider this tree change. I would in a heart beat! Anyway, enough of the house selling. Thank you Mill & Andy for your generosity and have a flick through to check out our rugs, prints and new cushions available online very soon

13.01.2022 Winter woollies and a pop of colour!

09.01.2022 Isn’t nature amazing? We recently discovered this figure while exploring an incredible landscape at Black Hill in Ballarat, inspired by @linda_franklin_artist who showed us how to make our own water colours using various clays and ochres at the @ballaratheritagefestival Craft Lab. My daughter was totally captivated and went into production at home, producing a beautiful deep red paint and will no doubt make more using the colours we found at Black Hill. Thank you @linda_franklin_artist for inspiring Ottie. We look forward to spending more time learning from you

06.01.2022 Happy Sunday everyone! Cute pic of artist Camilla Watson in one of our toasty boiled wool tops. It’s perfect for layering over another jumper on the really cold days. Stay warm, it’s gonna be a chilly week!

04.01.2022 Our beautiful Wattle Blossom rugs are here! They’re 100% NZ wool and come in two sizes 1.6 x 2.3m and 2x2.9m. Link in bio to see more pics online

02.01.2022 Yesterday in lockdown we spent some time drawing, down at the little lake we live next to in Ballarat. According to local knowledge, it’s the best swimming hole in the district. And we agree, although not at this time of year! It’s an old clay quarry that filled up with water when they hit a spring. There’s a crane to prove it just below the surface which is visible when the water level drops. The council had the foresight to revegetate the surrounding park and now, 30 years ...later there are tall trees and a wonderful habitat for animals. Thankfully all this happened because we now live next a beautiful place which connects us with nature and our local community. It’s a constant source of inspiration and pleasure and fulfills the role of providing a tranquil, biophilic place for us to call home. This is the dried centre of a Protea we found in the park. Hoping you’ve found time to be in nature today especially those still in lockdown See more

02.01.2022 We’re lucky to be living in regional Victoria right now and made the trip over to Bendigo yesterday for the fabulous Mary Quant show at the @bendigoartgallery It’s a must see for anyone interested in fashion & textiles. She was a fashion revolutionary and the show is a slice of fashion and cultural history. Try to get there before it finishes on 11th July if you can!
