Introduction - This can be a welcome, introduce the couple, some words about Marriage. A Reading or Poem... Personal Section - Some words about the couple, how they met, fun facts etc. As little or as much as the couple wish to share Giving Away - With tradition, this is the father 'giving away the bride', but these days it can be both father and mother, the Bride and the Groom. It can be any significant person or people in the couples lives. THE MONITUM - This is a statement about marriage according to the marriage Act. A legal requirement before the Vows are made. The Asking - Where you can say 'I DO' THE WEDDING VOWS - Specific words must be said during the Vows, then additional wording can be added before and after if you wish. Exchange of Rings or other symbol A Reading or Poem Declaration of Marriage SIGNING OF THE MARRIAGE DOCUMENTS / REGISTER. - this requires two witnesses at least 18 years of age, the Bride and Groom and the Celebrant. 08.01.2022 Aren't I the slack one, no recent posts on here! Ok then, I shall change that now. The most recent Ceremony was my beautiful daughters wedding at the end of December at Wild Cattle Creek Estate. The rehearsal the day before went really well, weather amazing, although very hot and humid. Everything going to plan. Very relaxed and excited bride and groom (oh and of course Celebrant..lol). The wedding day itself was sunny and humid until 4.35 pm......then the heavens ope...ned up with mega deluge etc....outdoor ceremony time was due at 5:00pm! With the wonderful help of family, friends and the venue staff, the wedding was moved indoors (as pre planned just in case) and everything went off really well. An emotion relaxed and fun ceremony. Very happy daughter (Bride) and husband Braeden. A great night was had by all and I had the honour of a life time being able to be my daughters celebrant.

02.01.2022 Each day I really have to pinch myself, as my excitement is steadily and rapidly growing, (along with the preparation and planning) for Monique and Braeden's December Wedding. Being a Celebrant is amazing, fun and incredibly special but nothing I have ever done will be the same as being asked by daughter Monique and her fiancé Braeden to be their Celebrant, and also Monique's Maid of Honour. Team this up with Mum of the Bride and there is my trifecta. Emotion overflow with so much to look forward to and not long to go!
