After the success of her best-selling photographic book High on Horses over a decade ago, Equine art photographer Nicole Clare Emanuel recognised a void of beautiful photographic books on horses that are entirely photographed within Australia. So this is where we need your help! It will be the power of MANY of you who are passionate about horses that make this project come to fruition! Whether a professional equine photographer, artist or a talented amateur, your work may be selected to be showcased in this LARGE FORMAT photographic/art book on horses! "HORSE AUSTRALIA" - to be released in 2020! This future publication will be the most lavishly produced and visually stunning coffee table book celebrating horses, EVER PRODUCED in Australia! An absolute MUST for every horse lover! Featuring Australian horses of ALL breeds and all equestrian fields, from brumbies to Baroque breeds, from racing to rodeos, and everything in between we want to see your BEST WORK! IF YOUR PHOTO OR ARTWORK IS SELECTED YOU WILL BE PAID! EVERY photographer whose image is selected to be published will receive a minimum payment of $500 for the use of their image! Q&A and Rules in brief: 1: You are the sole copyright owner of the supplied image 2: The images must be quintessentially Australian, and photographed within Australia. 3: Minimal Photoshop, Lightroom or edit work permitted to enhance your image, if your image makes the final selection we will ask for the original jpg or RAW file. 4: There will be various categories announced weekly, in a competition style announcement: SHOW US YOUR BEST IMAGES OF: Campdrafting, dressage, barrel racing, palomino’s, horses on the beach, kids & ponies, etc 5: RRP $60 per book (TBA) 6: Specifications 300mm x 300mm, 300 page (approx.) case-bound, full colour 7: No smartphone images permitted. 8: "Horses Australia" is a concept title only. LASTLY: We plan this book to be ENTIRLEY DESIGNED, PRINTED and PUBLISHED within AUSTRALIA! But... this is where we need on YOUR help! Because as the project progresses, we will launch a KICKSTARTER Crowd Funding project to cover all artwork design, printing, distribution and promotional costs! 03.01.2022 Apologies things have been moving along slowly on this page ! I have been very preoccupied being the ambassador for the Fujifilm XT3 which included an international launch and various magazine interviews!
