25.01.2022 http:// Illegal Dumping Reported // A pile of household waste has been reported on Jones Road, Goodna. We found items amongst the rubbish with names and mobile phone numbers. This will be investigated. Please be aware not all operators on Airtasker or other online platforms actually take your rubbish to the tip when you pay them too.... It is best to take your own items to the dump, it costs $12 for 500kgs! Alternatively, it costs $17 for an additional bin pick up. #ThereIsNoExcuse

10.01.2022 ‘The Soldier’ The ground and a wall, somewhere to lean for support For the exhausted soldier far away in thought... He does not see what is before him And he does not wish to see what is beside him Subconsciously he shields sight of his now passive defensive metal friend But for him the battles of torment will surely never end From gunfire through to a reflective transition He sits and contemplates his last active mission Alive in body the conscience observes death in slow motion Humanity, a multi-faceted perceived notion Shadows of friends now walk through his mind As he remembers the loved ones they have left behind A trained and loyal character, quick to respond in enemy fire He coexists with the internal conflict of what is abhorrent and dire There is so much pain and suffering in this troubled world we share And for the soldier who has seen too muchhe stares a distant stare. 07.01.2022 What a great way to get your kids out and about in our Division's fabulous parks and reserves! My children love to paint and hide rocks. It keeps them entertained and teaches them to give back so other kids can experience the same happiness. Check the Division 2 Ipswich Rocks page for further details and rock painting classes hosted by Sip n Dip Australia.
