09.01.2022 FRONTLINE LEGENDS | As we near the end of lockdown 2.0 with only 2 weeks to go! I thought I would challenge myself to a 12km run. These frontline workers on average work 12 hour shifts in PPE which I am told is heavy, hard to breathe in and has been compared to each hour in this safety equipment as a 1km run. Although I didn’t make my ambitious 12km I did do 8km which is equivalent to an 8 hour shift and from someone who only recently discovered running in March during the... first lockdown, the challenge and exhaustion you must feel each day, I truly am so grateful and thank you for your service. Next time you go for a run or walk why don’t we challenge yourself and do it for the frontline legends!?
