24.01.2022 Working with our neighbours in the Indo-Pacific will help us drive our comeback from the global pandemic, while creating jobs & certainty for Australians. I asked the Prime Minister, Scott Morrison (ScoMo), to outline how the Government is working with our allies & partners to create a stronger, more prosperous region.

23.01.2022 Today, we mark Remembrance Day. Remembrance Day is a time for us as a nation to unite in a minute of silence for those who have died in wars, conflicts and peacekeeping operations. To those of you have served in the Australian Defence Force can I simply say, thank you for your service.... And to those families who have supported you, thank you. For more information about Remembrance Day, visit https://tinyurl.com/y2ekqd58 Lest We Forget.

21.01.2022 This year we have been reminded of the critical importance of Australian manufacturing. The pandemic has clearly highlighted that the demand for quality Australian made products is stronger than ever. Local advanced manufacturing success stories, SAGE Automation & Mirco-X headquartered in the Tonsley Innovation District, are fantastic examples of the quality Australia can produce.... The Scott Morrison (ScoMo) Government's $1.5 billion Modern Manufacturing Strategy is set to benefit manufacturers around Australia.

21.01.2022 As part of the 2021-22 Budget, The Scott Morrison (ScoMo) Liberal Government is investing $354 million over the next four years to support women’s health, including funding for endometriosis and reproductive health, cervical & breast cancer. Helping women with endometriosis & increasing awareness & education of the condition has been one my priorities in federal parliament. I am pleased to see that this will continue to grow through the Pelvic Pain Foundation of Australia's P...eriods, Pain and Endometriosis Program (PPEP-Talk), which visits schools to help educate students on periods & pelvic pain. 20.01.2022 This week the Scott Morrison (ScoMo) Liberal Government extended the HomeBuilder grant, from 1 January until 31 March 2021, as part of our Economic Recovery Plan. I asked the Assistant Treasurer & Minister for Housing, Michael Sukkar MP - Member for Deakin, to provide an update on how HomeBuilder is helping Australians build a home of their own, while at the same time supporting construction jobs & helping to drive our economic comeback from the COVID-19 recession.

19.01.2022 Here's what you need to know about the easing of restrictions that come into effect today. Information has also been updated on the government's website: www.covid-19.sa.gov.au/ Thank you for working together with us to keep SA safe and strong

Earlier today the very first passenger trains arrived at the brand new Flinders Link Train Station, following the completion of the $141 million Flinders Link Rail Line that was jointly funded by the Scott Morrison (ScoMo) & Steven Marshall Liberal Governments. The Tonsley Line extension now links Flinders University & Flinders Medical Centre to the City, & will help students, university staff & our doctors, nurses & their patients get to the... precinct more easily, as well as easing parking pressures in & around the area. 19.01.2022 Thank you to all South Australians who have turned up to get tested for #COVID19 after the recent outbreak in the state. It’s important we get on top of this ou...tbreak quickly and the South Australian Government is working hard to do that, with the full support of the Commonwealth. I’ve spoken to SA Premier Steven Marshall again this morning from the plane on the way to Tokyo. We already have over 100 Australian Defence Force personnel on the ground assisting with logistics and quarantine. We’re also assisting with rapid testing in the state, and already have an aged care emergency response team working on the ground to help protect our elderly residents in aged care facilities. This virus is not going anywhere and we’ve always said we expect localised outbreaks to occur from time to time. What sets Australia apart from the rest of the world is how we work together to deal with these outbreaks when they occur and get on top of them quickly.

18.01.2022 An important update for our the veteran community the Scott Morrison (ScoMo) Liberal Government has rejected the recommended changes to eligibility for the Veteran Gold Card made by the Productivity Commission, & will not be changing eligibility for the Veteran Gold Card. The proposed changes to the Gold Card by the Productivity Commission’s report, 'A Better Way to Support Veterans', are not in the best interest of veterans and their families, which is why the Government h...as declined these recommendations. This decision provides veterans & their families with clarity and assurance for the future of their benefits. I hope this puts minds at ease relating to this important issue. 18.01.2022 In 1968, 26 Australian soldiers gave their lives at the Battle of Coral-Balmoral during the Vietnam War, in an effort to stop North Vietnamese forces. Although they were greatly outnumbered, the Australian forces prevailed during fighting which lasted for almost a month. It was an honour to attend the Coral & Balmoral Commemoration Service held by the Vietnam Veterans' Federation SA Branch today, alongside His Excellency the Hon Hieu Van Le AC, Corey Wingard, Tung Ngo MLC & M...ayor of the City of Marion, Kris Hanna Serving the Community, & lay a wreath on behalf of our local community. 18.01.2022 The Scott Morrison (ScoMo) Liberal Government's strong investment in Australia's defence industry underscores our continued commitment to our ADF personnel and national security. I asked the Minister for Defence, Peter Dutton, to outline how Australia's cooperation with our allies & partners is setting the foundation for our continued economic recovery from COVID-19.

It has been an honour & a privilege to serve our local community in Boothby, and the nation, and I will do my best to continue to do so as my time in Parliament comes to an end.

09.01.2022 This year is KinderGym SA's 40th birthday, and as I told Parliament, I was delighted to see our local community recognised with a range of Awards. 09.01.2022 South Australia is a big winner in this week’s Federal Budget, with the Scott Morrison (ScoMo) Liberal Government announcing a package of local roads & infrastructure funding which will boost our economic recovery, keep our families safe & back local jobs. This includes $2.6 billion towards the next stage of the North South Corridor Project, the first tunnel under South Road, between Darlington & Anzac Highway. Forming the first half of the dual tunnel Hybrid+ Project, which ...will complete the non-stop North South Corridor, its construction builds on the recently completed Darlington Upgrade, a $745.5 million project jointly funded by the Morrison and Steven Marshall Liberal Governments.
