25.01.2022 I'm feeling a little bit chuffed today as I've just been interviewed as part of a series developed by a fellow small business owner. I had an absoulte ball and can't wait to share it with you all when it's released in January!



24.01.2022 Some days are just so perfect you have to take your shoes off at lunch time!! It was also a great opportunity to listen to a podcast! If you take time out during the day what is it you do?

22.01.2022 I'm back onboard and well rested after a few weeks of not doing much at all! Memorable moments... Spending Christmas lunch a little unconventionally this year. My fiancé Mark and I took Ziggy to the beach and then we ate prawns, peaches and drank cider from the boot of the car whilst overlooking the beautiful coastline. We then had the traditional dinner with my family later that night but the beach trip was special.... I read books about Chakras and the Lunar Cycle and I'm soaking it up like a sponge! I've spent time with my family playing uno, watching movies, watching sunsets, going to the beach, eating, chatting and just hanging out together. I/we had a lesson in going with the flow when we forgot to take towels to the beach last weekend when we were up at Harrington on the mid north coast...and you know what?? We survived without them! Swim, shower and dripdry works just as well...well maybe not just as well but it did the job!! 21.01.2022 This photo popped up in my memories today. It reminded me that you can eat healthily wherever you are! On this day I was on holidays in Noosa and hiked out to Alexandria Beach in the Noosa National Park. Before I set out, I filled an empty strawberry container with salad and ate it on the beach. It's so easy to make excuses that you can't eat right, but at the end of the day they really are just excuses. 21.01.2022 Hey mums!!! I know we’re all busy with work and family but do you walk in the door at the end of the day and want to collapse on the bed or lounge and never move again?? But...... instead... you head to the kitchen and scramble every night to work out the dinner "plan". Plan? What plan I hear you ask? What you really want deep down is to be uber-organised and in control, so when you hear that daily question from one of your cherubs, Muuuum what’s for dinner? you keep your cool and point calmly to the meal plan on the fridge while relaxing on the lounge with a glass of wine. You know without a shadow of a doubt that you want to get on top of meal planning and shopping and get rid of all the stress that comes with it but you’re so tired and so time-poor you don’t have the energy to even work out where to start. 17.01.2022 ' ? Does your life revolve around pain, meds, lack of control, side-effects and wasted time all for the sake of those around you? As a Nutrition Coach & NLP Practitioner, that had my own share of health issues, I love to work with mums with health issues because there's nothing I love more than be able to watch a great transformation in a client's health. ... But it's more than just meal plans and nutritional advice when you work with me. I'm really into mindset because that's a large part of the solution...it's not just about the food. To explain more about mindset, here's some of what I do for my own self-care. Some of these I do daily, others come and go depending on my mood and what inspires me. I enjoy meditation and I encourage my clients in this practice. It actually plays a huge role in their initial goal setting. I love affirmations and a good gratitude journal which helps put everything in perspective when things go pear-shaped. I have a vision board and love to look at it in the morning before everyone wakes up and truly feel into my future. I also put a great big tick through a picture when it comes to reality (hello engagement ring!) I'm also partial to hypnotherapy which taps right into my subconcious and bypasses all those "stories" in my conscious mind. All of this I can do with my private clients but we take it at their pace and what they're comfortable with and go (grow) from there. ' ? That could mean less pain, less meds, less side-effects, an increased sense of control, and quality time instead of wasted time. Some get critical about eating charcoal chicken but honestly if it's a choice between that and Macca's I know what I'd choose everytime!

02.01.2022 I've got my daughter's 13th Birthday party this afternoon which stretches into this evening. 10 teenagers in the house for 5hrs!!!!! I was moving into overwhelm this morning with so much still to do even though I was up at 5am to start getting organised. I knew I needed to switch my mental state or I'd continue to slip further down that overwhelm slippery dip. So I took Ziggy for an early morning walk to switch my mood. I have a feeling this will be the most peaceful part ...of my day!
