14.01.2022 As of next week we will be rolling over to Xplor as our enrollment program and programming program. Today I sent an email to all families letting them know of the process but if anyone is getting stuck please watch this video to guide you through.

14.01.2022 It is nearly that time! Nido Castlemaine will only be closed for the public holidays (25th, 28th Dec & 1st Jan) over the Christmas break. If you know that your family will be taking some time off over this period and or into January and you haven't had a chance to return your 2021 reenrollment form, please shoot us an email letting us know and we can put it all in place for you

Today is Early Childhood Educators’ Day and we would like to take this opportunity to celebrate our educators for the fantastic job they do! Together with our families, we look forward to congratulating our educators for their wonderful contribution!

12.01.2022 Hi Parents and Care providers, We are proud to announce in celebration of book week we have introduced Schooltastic Book Club to our service. The book club catalogue will be given to your childs room (oldest child) and put in your child bag to go home to share with their families. Please do not feel obligated to buy anything and if you do not want your child to be given a catalogue please let us know and we can let the educators know not to put it in your child’s bag. The bes...t way to place your order is to download the app and place you order and pay it online. We are not placing orders and will not be accepting cash or cheque at the centre. Once you order is placed online you can nominate for us to receive your books and we will distribute them once they arrive or pay a delivery fee to get them delivered at home. This opportunity is a great way to bring the magic or reading into the home at reasonable prices and we hope you are excited about his as much as we are. Please let me know if you need more information or would like any further help in this matter.

10.01.2022 Don't let this cooler weather fool you, Castlemaine's UV levels have already been reaching 3, so as per our Sun-smart policy we are already applying sunscreen to our children on these days. We provide SPF50+ sunscreen at the centre but if your child requires their own sunscreen please ensure you bring in a bottle as soon as possible or if we have one from earlier in the year please check with your educators to see if we can continue to use that as well. Please also dust off your children's sun-smart wide brim hats and bring them in as well!

02.01.2022 Next Friday 14th is national Red Nose Day! This year we are "Getting silly to save lives!" so as a centre we will be having a crazy hair day! We would love to see our children with crazy hair styles but no stress if you don't get a chance we can help design some crazy do's during the day! #rednoseday2020
