25.01.2022 Meet our team on Monday :-) Hi, my name is Lauren and I am the Lead educator in the Toddler room. I have been working in the childcare industry for 10 years in the UK and here in Australia. I have been living in Perth with my partner for nearly 3 years, I also have a twin sister who lives on the Gold Coast. I have previously worked for Nido and have now returned as it is a great company. I spent the last 2 years in a busy and established service where my career developed further. I gained some great skills and met some great families and children. I look forward to meeting you all and welcoming you to our new service.

24.01.2022 Our mascots votes have been tallied and our mascots have arrived!!! Please welcome our new mascots who are all ready to start visiting Beach Kinder and your homes: Sealion and Green Sea Turtle. They are still without names so share your ideas with us!

22.01.2022 Munch it then Scrunch it!! Did you know you can recycle the foil from around your Easter treats by scrunching it into a Tennis sized ball and popping it into your recycling bin? One of our sustainable goals at Iluka is reducing consumption and proactive recycling is a part of that goal. Have fun creating your foil tennis balls! We hope that all our families have an enjoyable and safe Easter break. We look forward to seeing you on Tuesday.

22.01.2022 We will be celebrating Book Week from the 17th October - 23rd October. Children and educators will be wearing their favourite book character costumes throughout the week and children will participate in exciting Early Literacy activities!

Many of these senses develop optimally during a window of time called the critical period during the early years. Our babies thrive and thoroughly enjoy the many sensory experiences offered in our Nursery rooms daily

15.01.2022 Meet our team.... Hi my name is Marnie and I have taken over from the lovely Simone as Nido Iluka’s Service administrator. I have been in this position for 6 weeks now and have loved getting to know all of the families and building relationships with the children. Myself and my family moved from the UK to Perth in 2001 and live local to Iluka. I was previously a gym manager and have always loved customer focused rolls and being surrounded by inspirational people and positive environments. Outside of work life I play soccer for North Beach div1 women’s team and enjoy spending my time with friends and family

I am blessed with two beautiful children, Kirat 10 years and Jasmine 4 years old. I am lucky enough to bring my daughter with me and she is in our Kindy room. I am looking forward to getting to know our existing families better and meeting our new families at Nido.

12.01.2022 Adventures this morning at Beach Kinder. The children lead the exploration and are supported by the educators to investigate, question and build new understandings. Today they noticed the water was further away than normal, that they need waves to fill their buckets with water, full buckets can be heavy, dry sandcastles fall down but wet ones stay up and so much more. We can't wait for next Friday to visit the beach again.

My wife Stacey & I emigrated to Perth in 2007, we have a 3 year old daughter Willow I’ve been working in catering as a chef for over 20 years, in hotels, restaurants, hospitals, Aged care & now in Childcare. ... My passions outside of cooking are Rugby League, Batman & motorbikes!!!

I have worked in Early Childhood Education for 14 years and have been in various roles during this time. I have three children aged 9 , 4 and 22 months and my two youngest attend our service. I look forward to greeting you all from my desk on a daily basis and assisting you with all administrative queries.

08.01.2022 Today we are so grateful to be sharing the beautiful tradition of Thanksgiving with one of our Kinders that has recently moved here from the USA. We are sharing a traditional meal of Roast Turkey, Roast potato and pumpkin and braised cabbage. Andrew our wonderful chef has also made traditional pumpkin pies for afternoon tea.

I am married to Nick and we have 4 children, Tiana, 17, Kaylia, 13, Lucus, 12 and Cole, 9. They definitely keep us busy and our life full of fun! Having my own children is what set me on the journey to becoming an Early Childhood Teacher. ... I am particularly passionate about the first 5 years of a child's life and believe that they set the foundation for all their future learning and exploration of the world around them. I am so thrilled to have been given this opportunity to lead our wonderful team and ensure that each and every child that walks through our doors receives exceptional education and care from our awesome highly qualified educators. I have been in the Early Education field for almost 20 years,we have four children of our own aged 15,21,23 and 25. 02.01.2022 Memorable experiences this week included our Kinder children thoroughly enjoying yoga during quiet times and extending on family portraits with a focus on varying emotions and self regulation.The Nursery children became engaged in various sensorial and fine motor experiences this week.

01.01.2022 Last Friday the Kinder children thoroughly enjoyed making pizzas with our chef Andrew , they smeared the Passata and chose their own vegetarian and protein options for their pizzas. They were absolutely delicious !!!
