25.01.2022 T H E N I D O N E S T S Last week we spotted the local birds come into visit our wonderful garden, the children had a keen interest in these visitors. Three of our Kinder children asked to build the birds their very own nests and houses for the birds. The children displayed concern and empathy for these little creatures and were able to support each other in conversation in turn scaffolding their own learning. At Nido QV1, We strive to ensure all our curriculums are Chi...ld-centred across all ages. Each child’s current knowledge, strengths, ideas, culture, abilities and interests are the foundation of the program, meeting Element 1.1.2 of the National Quality Standards. #bringinglearningtolife #reggioinspired #nidoearlyschool

12.01.2022 Our Toddlers have had so much fun exploring and recreating our very own QV1 Pinnacles in celebration of WA Day yesterday! Miss Michelle invited the Toddler children to explore these fascinating structures, we had some very interested little people pointing in awe at the images on the wall. The Pinnacles of Nambung National Park are the major natural attraction in the Coral Coast region, found between Cervantes and Jurien Bay. The park is located roughly 200 kilometres n...orth of Perth and covers an area of 17,487 hectares, providing natural habitat for an extensive array of native animals and bird life. These amazing natural limestone structures, some standing as high as five metres, were formed approximately 25,000 to 30,000 years ago, after the sea receded and left deposits of sea shells. Over time, coastal winds removed the surrounding sand, leaving the pillars exposed to the elements. https://www.australiascoralcoast.com/destination/pinnacles

02.01.2022 Today we celebrated World Bee Day at QV1 with all sorts of amazing experiences Let’s celebrate together, raise awareness and do something good for bees. The main purpose of World Bee Day events is to spread awareness of the significance of bees and other pollinators for our survival. Simply proclaiming World Bee Day does not do much for bees and other pollinators; the main work of safeguarding their existence still needs to be undertaken. World Bee Day is an excellent oppor...tunity to put bees at the centre of the national conversation for a day and encourage actions that create more bee-friendly landscapes. https://www.worldbeeday.org.au. #environmentalawareness #worldbeeday #change
