10.01.2022 Anzac Week at Somerton Park. The children have been investigating the origins of the Anzac Biscuit, where does the word ANZAC come from and on Friday there will be a hands on presentation by Tracey, ESM, where the children will get to explore uniforms, packs and boots that she used to wear during her service. Katie Francis, Nursery Room educator has created an Anzac Day display in the Piazza that our families have been involved in by adding their family photos of service and ex serving members.

07.01.2022 Hi everyone! My name is Keely! I am the Early Childhood Teacher at Somerton Park. I have over 5 years’ experience working within childcare and preschool. I also come from a ridiculously large family where I am 1 of 11 children so I can handle anything! I am passionate about working with the early years, I love being able to see children learn about the world that they live in and that they will one day be making the world a better place. I am so looking forward to being a part of the Nido family and getting to know everyone!

06.01.2022 Today is Clean Up Australia Day! Our Kinder children along with our educators are proud to step up and help our community by collecting litter from our local parks. We will then discuss what we can do to contribute to a better environment - reduce, reuse and recycle! Have you made a pledge? We'd love for you to share it

02.01.2022 Yesterday we fare welled one of our valued educators, Munita Nathani on maternity leave. We surprised her with a gift basket for her and her special bundle of joy and a morning tea. We wish her well and we are all looking forward to meeting the newest arrival to the Nido family.
