21.01.2022 What do children learn from cooking: Develop children's fine motor skills through whipping up something tasty. Make it a sensory experience by encouraging children to touch the ingredients, smell them and even have a taste. Cooking offers the chance to share lots of new words with children.

19.01.2022 The Children at Nido Wyndham Vale were very excited to talk about Spoonville and have started creating a garden full of wood spoon people we cant wait to see our community of spoons grow Please feel free to add a spoon to our garden or create your own at home we would love to see pictures of what you have created.

16.01.2022 At Nido we provide opportunities for children to explore a wide variety of art mediums to allow them time to investigate how things work we provide them with time and support to engage with experiences. The possibilities are endless and also help to support the development of range of skills including: Finger motor development and muscle strength, creativity, problem solving and language development. Sensory play opportunities are a wonderful example of how the educators help to support children's development and create connections with the world that surrounds them.

16.01.2022 Well our current situation and the theme of National Reconciliation Week couldn’t be more fitting. We are really showing pulling together and being in this together through supporting one another through these unprecedented times. The children have been learning all about our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander heritage and the importance of respecting our land and each other. Learning about our heritage allows children to build a real connectedness with our community and enables them to understand the importance caring and contributing to our world.

14.01.2022 Congratulations Nido Wyndham Vale we officially have our Reconciliation Action Plan published this is one of the first steps we have taken to further develop our knowledge of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories, cultures and contributions in our early learning service.

11.01.2022 Happy Diwali to all our families and community

10.01.2022 Good afternoon everyone, We are very happy to introduce Jaclyn. Jaclyn is our bachelor trained teacher who will be running our three-year-old program.... Hello, Nido Early School Wyndham Vale community! My name is Jaclyn and I am the Teacher for the 3-year-old kindergarten room. I have wanted to work in the early childhood education and care sector for as long as I can remember. Not only do I have a passion for working with children but I LOVE learning and believe that those who teach are individuals that never cease to learn. Already over the past couple of months, I have learned so much from working alongside all of the children, staff, and families here at Nido. I am so proud to be apart of such an amazing and supportive community. A little bit about me: -I recently completed my Bachelor of Early Childhood Education at Australian Catholic University. -I have grown up in Werribee (all of my life) with my parents and twin brother. A fun fact about my family is that my mother, brother, and I all share the same birthday! -My hobbies include baking, camping, seeking adventures, playing board games, arts and crafts, shooting hoops, and spending time with my friends, family and pets.
