The coffee beans ground with pepper,cloves ,chilli etc gives the dish flavour which is addictive! You keep going for more : a simple ,flavoursome and a Moreish dish! Today is our wedding anniversary and have always baked our favourite Black Forest cake! Recently so got a chance to taste the famous @blackstarpastry Watermelon and strawberry cake! 04.01.2022 Again I can’t resist making another dessert I had a bowl of homemade ricotta and half can of condensed milk and some naan khatai dough ! So here it is : Chhena Poda (Odisha dessert)Tart with Salted coffee caramel icecream!! Chhena Poda is Indian version of baked ricotta cake. I used ground cardamom for flavour and some pepitas we added before baking. Really happy with the texture and flavour. The tart base is made of naan khatai dough (Indian version of short crust biscuits)! The tart base has a soft and crumbly cookie like texture. Will be soon posting the recipe on the blog.

01.01.2022 The onset of cold weather always makes me remember the brownie sizzler and a cappuccino at Cafe Coffee Day in India! I used to indulge on this sinful dessert once in a month! But now even a small bite means a huge guilt!! But since I have been eating clean from last 3 weeks I can afford a tiny piece of this fudgie Macadamia blondie with black coffee of course!!
