05.02.2022 2022. For the last two years, everyone in the property industry has been navigating a raft of changes. The increase in demand meant upscaling rapidly, while material and supply issues created challenges never before experienced. Our team has adapted and navigated this evolving landscape with a strong focus on what Niecon looks like in 2022 and beyond.... Learning from our heritage and leaning into our future, this year we will redefine our hold on residential development, and diversify our portfolio into commercial markets. What to expect from Niecon in 2022. Construction will continue on Ventura Residence with quality never compromised. Our next mid-rise residential development will break ground on the Northern Gold Coast. The commercial lifespace will commence in Southport. You will be introduced to the next phase of Niecon - the third-generation. We are looking forward to sharing this with you throughout the year.

26.01.2022 2021. As the third-generation of Niecon, 2021 will be time-stamped as a major milestone in our time driving the business. This year the reignition of Niecon into the Gold Coast market took the form of Ventura Residences | Mermaid Beach.... Ventura Residences is the first project in what will be an extensive portfolio of third-generation Niecon developments. Like all of our legacy projects, you can expect an elevated level of quality finishes where liveability is paramount. With a focus on the future, we have introduced a timeless colour palette that will continue to complement its surrounding landscape for years to come. Our construction partners, Hutchies, were appointed as our building partners as their core values of family, relationships and knowledge aligned with ours. Now with construction commenced we are looking forward to working closely on creating this lifespace. Behind the scenes, we have welcomed new team members, negotiated on future sites, and prepared to diversify our product offering in 2022. Our Oracle Development in Broadbeach is the perfect benchmark for a development that is purposefully built to nurture business and community growth. My Gelato is just one o...f the many long term businesses that call the building home. Having opened their first business at one of our past projects in Kirra (Nirvana by The Sea), they knew that a ‘Niecon Development’ was a safe place to launch their second store. Having been at Kirra for 10 years, and now Oracle, we caught up with the owners to see what appeals to them about Niecon Development and why they think these spaces are built with future businesses in mind. Q: When did you open your first Gelato Store in Nirvana by the Sea, Kirra? A: 24th December 2009, after moving to Australia from Italy in July 2009 Q: What appealed to you about this space and its position at Kirra? A: The location had a European vibe which created a familiarity with David’s homeland and the building became a hub for tourists visiting the Southern Gold Coast. Q: After 10 years at Kirra, why did you choose to relocate your store at Oracle? A: The concept of a Boulevard/close community that housed restaurants, accommodation and retail in such close vicinity was very rare on the Gold Coast. This model is extremely popular in Europe and David wanted to change his business model from just takeaway to offer a nice place for people to sit and enjoy their ice cream (which Oracle Boulevard provided). Q: Was the fact this was also a Niecon development part of your consideration for your next space? A: Yes, the building design was unique in that it wasn’t ‘just a structure’, it was a concept that created an experience for visitors.

Since its completion 11 years ago, Oracle is still a thriving space for growing busin...esses and has been the long-term home to some of the Gold Coast’s favourite restaurants, Social Eating House + Bar, Mamasan Kitchen + Bar, Broadbeach, and The Lamb Shop. The most recent addition to Oracle is the Niecon Head Office. Working from a legacy development while planning new projects, embodies everything Niecon stands for. We believe in the spaces we create.
