Undertaking this three-year apprenticeship will give you the opportunity to become a qualified Fitter & Turner and earn your Certificate III... The work would consist of manual machining, welding, fabricating, mechanical repair work, workshop and onsite work. 04.01.2022 Niflex Engineering are currently seeking an Apprentice Fitter & Turner. Our ideal candidate is currently in Year 10, 11 or 12 and is reliable, trustworthy, hard working, punctual and has the ability to follow instructions and confidently solve problems. Ideal candidates are mechanically minded and have a genuine interest in engineering. Previous mechanical and welding experience will be looked upon favourably. Duties will include lathe work, milling, welding, cleaning, measuring, grinding, assembly and fitting. Applicants are encouraged to submit their resume in person at 24 Strong St, Warrnambool between 8am and 6pm weekdays.
