24.01.2022 SWJFNL COVID19 GAME DAY GUIDELINES As a reminder, Covid19 guidelines require that: Only one parent/carer per playing child, and game day officials/volunteers be in attendance at 2020 SWJFNL games.... No other general spectators should attend, unless they are the parent or carer directly supervising a player, or in an official volunteer role. All adults attending must register their details upon entry to the grounds, declaring that they have not been in Victoria or returned from overseas in the last 14 days, been in one of the NSW hotspots, or are attending with cold or flu-like symptoms. 1.5m social distancing is to be complied with at the venue when watching games or using facilities, and please follow hygiene requirements and utilise the hand sanitiser. Only team or club officials are permitted to be on the field/court (ie no parents/caters are permitted at 1/4 time huddles etc). For registration, we have now been provided with an option for adults attending SWJFNL games to comply with Covid19 registration requirements electronically to reduce the need for hard-copy registers. The QR code pictured can be scanned (open the camera on your phone and hold it over the image), or the following link used: https://forms.office.com/Pages/ResponsePage.aspx A few short questions are answered and personal details entered including email, and then a confirmation email is sent to that address. (This email will come from AFL Riverina and may end up in junk folders.) This confirmation can then be shown to the volunteers on the gate. Gate volunteers should see either a confirmation page with a tick or an email to show proof of completion. This online registration can be done prior to each game day or on game day itself. We will also have a hard copy register at the gate, where attendees can verbally advise of their name & phone number for the gate volunteers to record (this is to reduce the handling of pens & clipboards by attendees), however the preference is for people to use the online registration option please. Thank you for your assistance and compliance with these requirement.

24.01.2022 Happy New Year to everyone involved at the mighty eagles. This Monday we will be taking orders for any merchandise for 2021 at ‘The Shed Life - Fitness and Coffee’ from 5pm to 6pm. You may want to come and check out the gym and talk to Dwayne whilst you are there. The main focus is for singlets ($30), training shorts ($35) and polos ($40) so they will be ready by early feb. We are hoping to have card facilities available and I will post about this on Monday. ... We will also have another order afternoon later on in the month at Bidgee Boxing where there will also be people on hand to talk about memberships/programs etc. Hope to you there Monday.

We’d also like to wish everyone, from our supporters to our players to our volunteers, a very Merry Christmas. 14.01.2022 Great news coming out of the nest with the re-signing of Joe Grinter and Issac Bunge. Both boys have been great additions to our football club and they will be looking to continue on from their big years in 2019. Our first training on Thursday had 22 footballers on the track which was a great turnout. Any footballer 15 or above is encouraged to get to training on a Thursday night starting at 6pm.

12.01.2022 ENTRY PASSES FOR SWJFNL GRAND FINAL ON SATURDAY After todays announcement by the NSW State Government on the slight easing of community sport guidelines, AFL Riverina have issued advice for ground access for the SWJFNL Grand Finals on Saturday, which the Eagles have two teams playing. In a nutshell - each player will be given two parent entry passes instead of one. Please note, this means both parents can attend this weekend. ... However, the league has clarified that other non-essential adults (i.e. grandparents or friends) unfortunately still cannot attend the ground this weekend. All games will be live-streamed from both the AFL Riverina website and Facebook page.

There is a photo in the comments for those who will be in the next order. Apologies for this. Stubby holders and caps will be available behind the bar. A logo design and sponsorship payment is due by the 27th of November, so that these can be designed and ordered in time for season commencement.

06.01.2022 Hi Eagles Fans. Just an update about our Junior Eagles who will be commencing their shortened 2020 SWJFNL season tomorrow in Leeton. Unfortunately heightened restrictions now apply as of today, and spectator access is limited to one parent/carer per player, which means that grandparents, other extended family members, or friends are no longer permitted to attend the Juniors matches as spectators to watch the kids play. This is very unfortunate as we know many families wer...e looking to have extra people come along and watch games, however we must comply with these requirements. We wish all our Junior Eagles the best in their season, and if you would like to leave a message of encouragement for our junior players in the comments I'm sure the kids and families would love to get that extra "virtual" support!
