23.01.2022 4/10 Anyway, we got married. Before we got there Dani and I talked a lot. An early conversation was that maybe having kids was off the table. That was a big hit for me as I had always thought that one day I would be a dad. It was still a no brainer for me. I got the girl - everything after that was a bonus. Dani and I were "not dating" and attended a theatre production where a heavily pregnant woman was the first to declare I should hold on to this one. 22.01.2022 5/10 Many people don't understand why I fight. I'm not even sure Dani gets it entirely, but she has said many times that I'm a better man when I'm fighting. My first crack at the cage was just before Boodja was born in 2013, but I had an injury to my thyroid that took me out of camp. The next was @hammafightnight in 2018, a catch-weight bout I really didn't train hard enough for if I'm honest, but had a solid showing all things considered. November 2020 began our plan toward...s my next fight, which should have been tonight. Gutted that I am to have 6months of planning, training, nutrition, sacrifice, and discipline go somewhat to waste, nothing compares to the bastion of support; nutrition advice and prep; and motivation that @alalumiere_health_and_beauty provided throughout. 14.01.2022 9/10 Over the past year we've changed jobs multiple times; moved house (both to one, and moved one); begun to build; planned and trained for events; and navigated a pandemic... and didn't kill each other We never really learn... when this little mouse was born we'd gone through the joys of IVF and pregnancy again; just moved house; had the family over for Christmas; and all with a toddler. (There may even have been a car accident in there somewhere too).... Mousey-Mouse is a superb level of challenge and celebration. My faith for her future is the example that Dani shows daily...equal parts broken and brilliant, flawed and fantastic, defeat and determination.
