25.01.2022 One way to pass the covid lockdowns in Australia at the moment... Testing out the larger top load, 152mm x 38mm, giving 6.61pF capacitance... Re-tapped primary by another turn...

19.01.2022 Additional experiments with adding both toroids.. No re-tuning of the coil was needed.

16.01.2022 A project that has been in the winds for some time... Finally rewritten and now back up... http://www.nightlase.com.au

14.01.2022 Another project underway.. High-Frequency Solid-State Tesla Coil. More to come...

14.01.2022 If 2020 has not been enough of a shock to the system... let’s hope 2021 delivers a more positive year..

13.01.2022 Construction and testing of the HFSSTC project. Final casualties: x3 Mosfets and x4 rewinds of the RF choke (L1 - black cylinder component on the board).

09.01.2022 Its been a busy month already, with another interesting project completed; - A High Frequency Solid State Tesla Coil. Read more about the journey on the website: https://www.nightlase.com.au/?pg=hfsstc... A special credit to Jay Bowles of Plasma Channel and Leon of Teslaundmehr Page for the inspiration and motivation to undertake this little project.

08.01.2022 It’s been on the back burner for many years now to rewrite the website.. Finally, I guess one positive outcome of these lockdowns, being able to make some slow inroads on projects... Several months of work to bring together my projects and document the journey that started back in 1990 and with roots back to 1988 of my passion and interests and as they evolve through to the present time.... Finally, the Nightlase Technologies website is now live as we begin a new year.

08.01.2022 Completed coil & running nicely.

07.01.2022 Features on the website, this little Q-Switched ND:YAG laser cavity used to make pinholes for our diffraction experiments..

05.01.2022 The last couple of days saw the arrival of an interesting little kit, a Tensegrity Table. This beautifully engineered piece has been created by the folks Kontax Stirling Engines whom also manufactured the KS90 Stirling Engine (seen on top of the table). Have always been a fan of the products by Kontax Stirling Engines in the UK.
