25.01.2022 Update We are still able to open under stage 3 restrictions. All of the normal Covid safe practices are still in place.... Temperature cheacks on arrival 20 second soapy hand wash on arrival Every second chair closed for social distancing Completely sanitised chairs , basins and surfaces. Extra cleaning measures 4m Rule still is in place for space and how many people we can have in the salon. Colours will still need to be processed in your car. Please bring an old towel along to protect your car and head rest. Please cancel your appointment if .... You have been in contact with anybody that been overseas or in hotel quarantine in the past month If you have visited the hot spots in the past two weeks If you or any of your family members / close contacts have been tested for Covid 19 and dont have results as yet If your unwell or have any symptoms of Covid 19 We are unable to serve coffee or tea ..... or supply magazines, please bring your own along for your appointment if you require a drink or some reading material. 25.01.2022 Just an update for 2020 regarding the Templestowe location. Due to COVID and the restrictions on the 4m rule , unfortunately I wont be moving my Wednesday clients to the new location this year at this stage. If you have an appointment at the Templestowe salon this year on a Wednesday, please keep the time and day .... but just change the location to the Ferntree Gully salon. Nik xx

25.01.2022 Covid 19 salon update. Thanks so much for to all your help , helping us keep you and ourselfs safe. We just want everybody to feel comfortable and know we are doing our very best to stop the spread. ... I just wanted to Run past you all that the rules we have are still in place for the salon. These will be in place until there is another socials post in the future informing you of changes. -Please dont attend the salon if you are unwell or have been unwell in the past month and have not been tested for the virus. -Please dont attend the salon if you have been in contact with somebody that a been overseas in the past month. -Temperature checks on arrival. -Soapy 20 second hand wash on arrival. -Please stay in your car and text me once you arrive , that way I can tell you when to come in., once the person before you has gone. -Once your colour is on you will need to process your colour in your car , then come back in to the salon to have your hair finished. ( lots of you have already done this , please bring a old towel to go over your head rest to make it more comfortable, so there are not stains of colour on your car) If you have trouble parking close to the shop - Please let me know and I will help with a close spot. -please bring your own reading material and feel free to pop down 5 mins early if you would like to go in to the local cafe for a coffee to bring in to the salon. I know all of these procedures and rules are not ideal for a trip to the salon , but unfortunately it the way things need to be at the moment. 23.01.2022 Dan the man has decided its time for us to kick this virus out of town for good. I personally can not Wait to get our lives back on track. Get back to the Normal things we all love. Hair salons will close temporarily along with lots of other industries added to the list today of already shut businesses. My thoughts are with everybody though this pandemic, be kind to yourself and everybody around you. ... We will be back , stronger than ever Melbourne. I cant wait to see all of your smiling faces , long hair, massive big regrowths and grey roots hopefully in 6 weeks ! Thanks you each and every one of you for always supporting my business, Im one lucky lady. Your appointments will remain the same from the 17th of September when we re open. Your appointments between Thursday the 6th of Aug and the 16th of September have now been cancelled. 22.01.2022 Hey All. Just a quick note to remind everybody about the rules we have in place in the salon re sickness. Please cancel your appointment with 24 hours notice if your sick with cold or flu symptoms. Regardless of if you have had a negative covid test , you still can’t attend the salon with these type of symptoms. Basically if I catch a cold , or have flu like symptoms I have to be covid tested as well and cancel my appointments with other clients until I have no symptoms to be able to return to work. I know how important it is to get your hair done ( I feel ya ! ) but coming sick could potentially cause me to have to cancel 25-30 other clients hair appointments. So please think of others in these times. Xxxx Nik

22.01.2022 Hi All. I’m super excited to be back in the salon next week. We have, by law, placed a few conditions at the salon due to Covid19. I ask that you please message me on 0433284177 once you have parked your car and stay in your car until I respond and ask you to come in. This way we can control the number of people at one time in the salon ...you need to wear a disposable mask, you will be asked to fill out an attendance register and..you will be asked to wash your hands and h...ave your temperature checked. If you are having a colour you may be asked to wait in your car while you are processing. You must come alone...no kids, friends etc due to space limitations. If you are feeling unwell please reschedule your appointment. If you have been asked to isolate or you have been in contact with anybody that’s been overseas or been asked to self isolate, or a close contact please reschedule your appointment. The 24 hour cancelation policy is still in place but if it’s COVID related of course we understand and want you to be honest if your feeling unwell with symptoms. We are doing our best to provide a safe environment for you all but, we need your help. We have sanitizers in the salon but please be mindful of touching products and surfaces where you can. 15.01.2022 Today's announcement bought welcome news that hairdressers can re-open from tomorrow. This is fantastic, and those like me who desperately need a colour and a t...rim are very excited (actually I think my teenage son who has been asking me every day for the last 5 weeks was even more excited). Please note that Hairdressing businesses had no idea they would be opening tomorrow was a possibility and are highly likely not ready to re-open straight away. Many in our area had to remove stock and fixtures during lockdown because they kept getting broken into. So they will need a little time to get their salons covid-ready. Also, a significant number of hairdressers are Mum's with school age children. Giving them 24 hours to map out what the working week will look like and what they need to do to sort the kids including school drop offs and pick ups requires some planning. Finally, hairdressers are going to be inundated by regular clients desperate for a cut, colour etc.. There won't be enough time in the day especially with covid safe plans in place to manage everyone's needs in the client's preferred timing. Please be patient, kind and supportive to our hairdressers - absolutely support them with business but just remember just because they are given the green light for tomorrow doesn't necessarily mean, it's all systems go straight away. If you are a local hair dressing business and want to post your business details here - feel free to do so Additional Info for Hairdressers from DHHS website: Hairdressers and barbers will be able to recommence work. This includes operating mobile businesses and at home businesses, if they are registered, have separate entrances, and COVIDSafe practices. For a person to operate out of their home, they must have a discrete retail area, including: a dedicated premises for the business to operate that is separate from the place of residence in all aspects (e.g. workers or clients cannot enter the residence) another entrance for workers and clients that is separate to the residence no sharing of facilities (e.g. toilets; kitchen etc.). This is subject to the density quotient and cleaning requirements as per other retail settings. Face masks must be worn by the worker and client at all times.

14.01.2022 To all My Wonderful Clients , Firstly want to thank everyone for coming to see us in the salon and supporting My small business! We have implemented social distancing inside the salon, and are stepping up our sanitization more then our usual procedures. 13.01.2022 We are still here ....Scomo said we could still trade so we are. We all knew hairdressing was an essential service..... so we are still here to do your hair , chat and pamper you! Its great for all of our mental health at this time but we still have to practice social distancing. We have closed every second chair on the salon to keep with the 1.5m rule. We clean and sanitise each chair and station , and all of the tools throughly. We are also a doing lots of hand washing or... wearing gloves , and asking you to do the same. Masks are on also. We are asking clients to pop in there car to process there colours where we can also to limit the amount of people in the salon. We still have no magazines or drinks available but your welcome to bring your own ! Just remember to keep away from that box dye. That will case more issues long term than a bit of re growth. We are here to help. Its a crazy time and we are just here to ride the wave. Be safe and wash your hands xx See more

10.01.2022 Well.... this says its all ! Its time to pop your locks in a ponytail ! After the updated victorian government announcements today we will be unfortunately closed until the 28th of October. All bookings between now and the 28th of October have been cancelled. I wont contact you all individually due to the excess of calls and text that would be my end. ... Appointments from the 28th of October will remain in place as they are. If you need to make any arrangements to change times for when I return I would appreciate you reaching out via text sooner rather later so I can have you all in place for my return. ( bringing appointments sooner of example) As most of you are aware in October I also Open my appointments for next year and its first in best dressed for spots so please keep an eye on social media posts for when my appointments open up so you can message to get your preferred days and times booked for 2021. Lastly .... please try not to box dye your hair. It creates such a hard task for me trying to get you back to your desired look / colour once we return. It also becomes expensive for you if I need to Do more than the usual to fix or correct what a box dye has done. I understand some of you will need to Touch up your hair or get by with something , so please message me so I can help you make a educated professional decision on what will be best. 09.01.2022 Dan the Man has made face masks compulsory as of Wednesday 22nd @ 11.59pm. We need you to make sure you have your face mask on when visiting the salon. Please bring your own mask. Disposable masks will be available for you to purchase from the salon if you dont want to get colour ect on your mask, but please wear yours to the salon and let me know if you wanted to swap over to a disposable version. They are $2 per mask. At times where its hard to wear a mask, like rinsing your colour - I will ask you to hold up your mask to cover your mouth. Unfortunately this is for the benefit of everybodys safety , We are all in this together. Stay safe ..... love Nik xx

I won’t be back in the salon until Tuesday 27th October as the salon is currently having some renovations and we have worked around the date originally given by the government of the week starting the 26th October. I know your all very overdue to have your hair done , me included ! Please remember I am currently booked solid for the rest of the year. ... If your going to be visiting the salon to see Sandra or jen while i am on leave at this stage they are waiting on an opening date from the Victorian government.
