23.01.2022 Even though we love seeing your pooches out with you on market days, as the weather warms up, please remember their poor little paws. If its too hot for you to walk around with bare feet, its too hot for them as well. Although there are water bowls for your dogs scattered around the market area, please remember to bring a water bottle and portable water bowl for them too. There are doggy poo bags located at each of the market entrances for your convenience also

21.01.2022 It was a hot morning at the market today but Deb and Margaret didn't mind one bit when they found out they were winners! Deb won our Fruit and Veg raffle with number 3, and Margaret was thrilled to bits to win our $100 Moneyboard with number 98. Congratulations ladies!!

18.01.2022 The Hervey Bay Animal Refuge got the Crane Truck in this morning to move the big red shade framework from over the old puppyland area & take it to the Food Court area in the Market area. The area that use to be pupplyland is now been used to house water tanks as the Animal Refuge bore is drying out. It has supplied water to the Refuge since 1977. So water tanks are a must now, to make sure the pets, & the cleaning of the kennels & cattery has enough supply of water . Our Volunteers help with the bookings & cancellations, early Market morning gate duties, Raffles,Farmyard pets, Refuge Sale Stall, Cattery, Merry-go-round, & Pet Adoptions.. Not one of our volunteers are paid for their services, they do it for free out of a passion for the Animal Refuge & it's Nikenbah Markets. Our voluntary Ange...ls we call them . And thank-you to the Stallholders who attended today's Nikenbah Market, their site fees & power fees goes directly back to the Charity the Hervey Bay Animal Refuge . 07.01.2022 Baby guinea pigs will be available for pre-adoption this Sunday at the Nikenbah markets in the farmyard pets enclosure. These guys are only a week old and not ready to leave mum yet.

06.01.2022 In case you've forgotten, the markets are on tomorrow. Of course you'll find all your old favourites, but some new stalls for tomorrow are :- acrylic paintings, pottery, boho coastal homewares, Fraser Coast Mushrooms, handmade timber clocks and bowls, budgies and fish, essential oils, all sorts of art and craft just to name a few. And not only will you be able to purchase fresh seafood, but if you want it cooked, Gary will be able to do that in his seafood food van next d...oor. And Peter is relatively new selling his cheeses, olives and salami's so not only will you be able to get your weeks worth of fruit and veg, but also buy up for that Sunday barbie or party. The farmyard will have baby guinea pigs for adoption, the refuge has lots of lovely cats looking for a new family AND the refuge stall will have some trolley mats for sale for those of you that take your pooch to Bunnings. 05.01.2022 The Hervey Bay Animal Refuge have moved their Raffle Stand into the Refuge Sale Stand opposite the ol' raffle stand. It allows the volunteers to keep an eye on the two stalls together. All proceeds from the Raffle's & Sale Stand go directly back to the Hervey Bay Animal Refuge. Thank you to all volunteers & the public for your kind support, & big thanks to Fraser Coast Fresh Produce for their kind donation each Market of the Fruit & Vege Voucher & thanks to Mandy for the delicious family size Cheesecake, much appreciated. 02.01.2022 What a great market this morning!! Hopefully everybody shopped well and had a great time? Well, we had some very happy raffle winners this morning. Dennis was lucky enough to win the cheesecake (cookies & cream yumm) with number 22. Liz won our Moneyboard with number 64 and Lea won our Fruit & Veg voucher with number 04.
