19.01.2022 When you see someone with a body or physique that you are envious of instead of asking What training plan and nutrition guide are you using? The question sh...ould be How long have you been doing it? If someone can stick to something long enough to get the results they want (and you adore) then that is the perfect program for them. So often I see people complete a 10 week Body Blitz program or a new Maxine Challenge and love the results.only to regain the weight they lost + extra and never set foot in the gym again. When you are looking for a weight loss/training plan you need to consider= Can you exist on 1200 calories per day for the rest of your life? NO Can you not eat your favourite foods 24/7? NO Could you drink soup and eat bananas forever? NO Are you able to train 2 hours per day forever? NO Do you enjoy running and copious amounts of burpees? NO Can you eat sliced meat and cheese everyday for the rest of your life? NO Will this nutrition plan and training regime work in with my family or life commitments? ?? If you are re-introducing exercise and healthy eating into your life, or for the first time these are my guidelines. *You need to be eating 2000 cals every day. Not under for 4 days and over for 3 days. 2000cals every day. Not for a week or 2 weeks. 2000 cals every day for 6 weeks. *Training maxed out at 1 hour x 4 times per week or 6 x 30 min sessions. *Don’t leave out entire food groups unless medically advised too. When you sign up to drastic meal plans or training programs you are essentially yo-yo dieting. Quit it and find something you can nurture and enjoy forever. See more

03.01.2022 *Showing Up* is the most important part of your journey. People who show up day in / day out surpass everyone else. Being the fittest or strongest or have t...he best abs means nothing compared to someone who has the ability to continue to show up each and every day. Let me tell you why One day the fittest or the strongest or the swolest person in the gym will get distracted. Perhaps by boredom, injury, priority change etc..and their training will slow, cease or become too haphazard to continue smoothly. Gains will be lost and perhaps never be recovered. However, the athlete that continues to show up rain, hail or shine can keep on keeping on, regardless of distractions, injury, disappointment and inconvenient situations. This athlete is resilient and has the strength of mind to show up regardless of the 1000 reasons they have to ditch the gym or class that day. Is this about being able to do Fran in under 3 minutes? Or run 4 min KMS? Or win the next Powerlifting competition? Or do 10 muscle ups unbroken? No to all of the above. It’s about training day in day out for the rest of our lives.
