But not long lengthy ones, make it as short as possible. Take out information you already know. Make sure you can read through it in 30 minutes. Simplified notes are always your best friend for exams. One piece of advice you would like to give to current Year 12s: Relax every now and then. HSC may be a big hurdle in life but it’s not the end of the world. Life after high school is so different. Remember to give yourself time to reflect and enjoy with the people you love~ Tani Jalal graduated in 2016 from Strathfield Girls High School, and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts (English Literature)/Bachelor of Education (Secondary) dual degree from UNSW to fulfill her passion of teaching English to high school students. With over 6+ months experience teaching in groups and privately, Tani has mastered the art of teaching to Year 12’s like you and also successfully mentoring them for allowing students to achieve their academic and personal goals. She received a 20/20 in her trials for Mod C and therefore understands the requirements for securing high marks in English essays.
