25.01.2022 If you have beautiful pale skin you dont need to get a spray tan before your shoot. I usually suggest spray tans a week prior to shoot to even out skin tones (eg if you have very obvious tan lines and vastly different colour on parts of your body), but it is never mandatory. If you love your pale skin then dont bother with the spray tan. Hair and makeup by Carein at Al 4 Beauty.

21.01.2022 Photographing environmentally is currently my favourite thing to do, and at the end of 2019 I had a number of requests for swimsuit photos by a pool, rather than on the beach. My aim is to do many more swimsuit shoots this year, and with summer here, now is the perfect time!

21.01.2022 Im back from my social media hiatus! It was so nice to take the time to unplug from social media. I had a lovely refreshing break and ready to get back into shooting. With 2020 comes a new studio setting, no more bedhead and double bed. After 4 years it was definitely the time for a change. Variety is the spice of life and Im looking forward to the different images I will create in my new space. These photos were from 2019.

17.01.2022 My favourite outfits that flatter any body shape: a corset, chemise/slip, robe, sheet and shirt. With the corset/bustier make sure it flatters the breasts, rather than flatten them. It doesnt have to be a corset that tightens up at the back with laces. I have the white sheet and 2 lace robes in my studio for your use. The shirt can be your partners fave sports shirt, business shirt or your own shirt, jumper or jacket - no need to buy a new one!

14.01.2022 Did you know that I can also shoot at hotels, clients homes and outdoor locations? I photographed a client at a Brisbane city hotel room yesterday and it took me back to when I first started in boudoir and I mainly photographed in hotel rooms. If youve already had multiple shoots with me and wanting something completely different I highly recommend booking a hotel room for your next shoot.

05.01.2022 Almost 8 months after ordering my lounge suite, it has finally arrived! As gorgeous as the studio bed setting was, it was definitely time for a change. I wanted something in a similar style an elegant and classy lounge suite. It includes a modern chesterfield sofa and occasional chair, both with velvet fabric. I also have new artwork, gorgeous throws, and the mirror changed to silver to complement the new look. Now I’m only waiting on my side table to arrive in the next couple of months. The couch is huge, so don’t worry I can still capture laying down shots, no bed required!

05.01.2022 Fingers crossed that I can see some of the overseas places on my vision board next year I think I was a bit naive thinking we were over the worst of it, but looks like Covid is sticking around a while longer. Make sure to reschedule your shoot if you have covid-like symptoms or have been outside Qld recently. Due to my asthma, and one of my makeup artists also being in the high risk category, we can’t take any risks. Stay safe everyone. I’m looking forward to my August shoots
