25.01.2022 MORE QUEENSLANDERS ARE BACK IN WORK: Today we saw unemployment fall from 8.8% to 7.5% Queensland has a plan for economic recovery, were delivering it, and its already benefiting Queenslanders. #qldjobs #uniteandrecover
25.01.2022 8 years ago the LNP showed us what they really stand for... Dont risk our economic recovery by letting Deb Frecklington sack more workers.
25.01.2022 8 years ago record numbers of Queenslanders stood up against an outright attack on working people and the services Queenslanders rely on. The LNP has never apologised in fact they wont even rule out doing it again if given the chance. Queensland Unions
24.01.2022 Awesome mobile office in Eatons Hill this morning. Thanks for the friendly waves and beeps #mobileoffice #pinerivers #volunteersrock #uniteandrecover
23.01.2022 Thanks to Ibou from Sweet Bean Espresso who has been keeping us caffeinated and cooled down on our booths with Cleanskin Coffee Co!
23.01.2022 We have all made sacrifices to get through COVID and protect each others health and livelihoods. Family events, weddings, funerals, travel, business and work have all had to change or been put on hold completely. Quarantine has applied to everyone. These changes have saved lives in Queensland and allowed us to start a safe reopening in a way most other places in the world cannot.... Everyone has made sacrifices and taken on this burden, even our Premier. Thanks to everyone who has made sacrifices to support our strong response to COVID.
23.01.2022 BREAKING: Voluntary assisted dying bill to be introduced in Queensland Parliament next week. When the time comes, government MPs will vote according to their conscience. This must be beyond politics.

22.01.2022 Queensland borders will open to the Australian Capital Territory at 1am on Friday, September 25. Well work with ACT authorities to make sure appropriate checks are in place at Canberra Airport for people flying into Queensland. The top priority is making sure no one who has been to a declared hotspot in the last 14 days is allowed into QLD.... This is another step towards ensuring Queenslands economy rebounds, not the virus.
22.01.2022 Restrictions are changing in Queensland from 4pm, November 17. Queenslanders have worked hard to stop the spread of the virus, which means we can enjoy more of our Queensland way of life and keep Queensland’s economic recovery plan moving forward. #covid19
21.01.2022 Happy NAIDOC week. And a big shout out to our wonderful Aunty Deb. She works tirelessly as a positive influence for our young people- always with a smile on her face. Wish I could give you a big hug Aunty Deb ... #alwayswasalwayswillbe #NAIDOCWeek2020
21.01.2022 One of us is looking intrigued Im down at the Strathpine Centre all day, near the food court. Drop in to say Hi!
20.01.2022 I met with Joanne from Maverick Travel Australia a couple of weeks ago and she really emphasised the extent of the duress of 24,000 Australians who want to come home, but are stranded overseas. From Monday, September 28, Queensland will increase our intake of international arrivals by 200 per week. The following week this will increase by an additional 300, taking our total to 1000 per week.... All arrivals will enter 14 days hotel quarantine. Queenslands police and health professionals have done an amazing job managing hotel quarantine so far, but we know how critical it is to keep getting it right. The Prime Minister has agreed to provide additional Australian Defence Personnel to assist which is essential to be able to take more. Queensland will continue to do as much as possible to help Australians get home safely. Thanks Jo for your strong advocacy and commitment to the pandemic response and our economic recovery!

16.01.2022 Queensland sunshine and breezes will be helping power Coles stores and BHP mines from 2022, thanks to deals with CleanCo. Queensland has an economic plan for post-COVID recovery and affordable, reliable energy supply underpins that plan. Thats why the government is investing in initiatives like our $500 million renewable energy fund that will allow our publicly-owned generators, including CleanCo, to invest and drive our renewable energy revolution.
16.01.2022 We’re excited at Bray Park State School- planning will be underway shortly for new prep playgrounds and upgrades to existing infrastructure

14.01.2022 Our strong health response means we can now focus on our economic recovery plan already rolling out across Queensland. At the heart of this plan is local jobs, all backed by Government investment in: Support for small businesses... Job-creating infrastructure Queensland's Manufacturing Industry Buying Local Initiatives It's simple. It's critical. And I'm determined to see our community directly benefit from these Labor policies. Find out more here: https://www.covid19.qld.gov.au//our-economic-recovery-stra
14.01.2022 Ive a strong record of fighting for our community to have frontline workers we need and I will always keep public services in public hands. Deb Frecklington and the LNP have made $23 billion of unfunded election commitments while promising not to borrow money or raise taxes. So that can only mean one thing: CUTS ... When she was Campbell Newmans Assistant Treasurer, Deb Frecklington sacked 14,000 workers. The question for the LNP is simple, cut what, cut where, cut who? Pictured here with some of our vital public servants, Yolanda who is a School Cleaner and Rebecca a Radiographer with Queensland Health- who Ive had the honour of working with for many years. 13.01.2022 #ThrowbackThursday as soon as our team of Assistant Ministers were appointed, we got straight to work. My responsibility is for Local Government- working with Mayors and Councils to make our communities even better, through programs like our signature Works for Queensland. Lots to do!
13.01.2022 No new COVID cases and a rapid decline in our active cases overnight too. Keep up the social distancing and great work Queensland!
13.01.2022 Happy Working Parents Day! While it may not always be glamorous it is always rewarding #workingparents #hustleandheart #dailygrind #eviep
13.01.2022 It been a big week with seats declared, officially bringing the election campaign to an end. But we hit the streets this arvo, one last time- to say thanks! But I really want to send the biggest of thanks to these guys. My campaigns are grassroots and rely on hundreds of volunteers committing their time and energy to the cause. They make the tough times fun! They are giving, determined, disciplined and tough. They are some of the best humans you could call friends. So the BIGGEST and last election thank you is reserved for them! #thankyou
12.01.2022 The LNP would open the border in a heartbeat and our hard work and our health at risk. We know we cant trust them.
12.01.2022 We will deliver the policing resources our community needs- to a new station at Dayboro, mobile beats, more boots on the ground and more devices to keep our officers mobile!
12.01.2022 Congrats to the team at Mount Samson State School who have added to their tech with a grant for new laptops and a laptop trolley #mountsamsonstateschool

10.01.2022 Queensland Police Service are blitzing our states worst repeat DV offenders. Were literally knocking on respondents doors over 300 of them and theyre responsible for 1,100 aggrieved persons, and saying to them were monitoring you, were holding you to account, we know what youre up to and expect to see us," Police Commissioner Katarina Carroll says reminding offenders theyre being watched is a proven deterrent.... #enddv #notnownotevertogether

09.01.2022 Queensland Police Service are blitzing our states worst repeat DV offenders. 'We're literally knocking on respondents' doors over 300 of them and they're responsible for 1,100 aggrieved persons, and saying to them 'we're monitoring you, we're holding you to account, we know what you're up to and expect to see us'," Police Commissioner Katarina Carroll says reminding offenders they're being watched is a proven deterrent.... #enddv #notnownotevertogether
08.01.2022 Ian Brusasco AO lead a life of service, one that touched the lives of many! He gave so much of himself to charity, community, sport and the great Australian Labor Party. He has left a honourable legacy and will be missed. Don Brown MP Foodbank Queensland
08.01.2022 Virat collects the mail everyday & Diya is learning about politics in school- so when they saw my mobile office this morning Divinesh and Shristi turned the car around to say hello. We got to talk about my job and Victorias road map to recovery and how great it is to be a Queenslander! #mobileoffice #warner #braypark #uniteandrecover #fightsforus
08.01.2022 A re-elected Palaszczuk Labor Government will build a brand new Police Station in Dayboro, providing our hardworking officers with the modern facilities they need (like toilets indoors )
08.01.2022 BREAKING- MANUFACTURING IN BRENDALE 25% of all PPE bought by the Queensland Government will be made in Queensland! Were mobilising local manufacturing companies like Aspen Medical to deliver personal protective equipment for our frontline workers.... The Brendale manufacturing company will ramp up production from two million masks a month to four million masks a month thanks to support from the Palaszczuk Government. Our investment in local manufacturing secures Queenslands supply of PPE and creates more local jobs as part of our plan for economic recovery. #covid19 Cameron Dick MP Glenn Butcher Moreton Daily
07.01.2022 Deb Frecklington called for the borders to NSW & VIC be open 64 times in the height of the pandemic
07.01.2022 Early Voting is open til 9pm tonight. We’re fuelled by Rob from @mkn_kitchens steak burgers Thanks Rob! Look for the red shirts at 709 Gympie Rd LAWNTON #fightsforus #teamqld #pinerivers
07.01.2022 Deb Frecklington has made $23 billion in election commitments but is promising not to raise taxes or borrow money. That means theres only one way she can pay for her promises:
06.01.2022 We have taken strong measures to protect Queenslanders from COVID because we know it is dangerous, damaging and deadly. The LNP would open our borders tomorrow if given the chance and have us all in harms way.
06.01.2022 My super considerate and kind nephew Lachlan has been growing his magnificent thick shiny hair. Now at 30cm long, he is shaving for a cure and donating it. If you can donate to this worthy cause, please do (please dont be salty ) Link in the comments
06.01.2022 The LNP have announced that they will cut $3.2 billion out of the public service and want you to believe they won’t cut a public servant. Queenslanders are smarter than that!
06.01.2022 No new COVID cases today Lets keep going Queensland!
05.01.2022 The Kedron Emergency Services complex has deployed some really unique and successful initiatives lately- heres just a couple of ways the Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) is being more effective through 000 support: Theyve established a Clinical Hub, introduced during the early stages of the COVID19 pandemic to triage potential coronavirus cases and keep community safe. Within the Clinical Hub is the Mental Health Liaison Service staffed by experienced mental health clini...cians. The priority is to improve the safety of both patients and paramedics attending mental health cases. Deescalating situations, ensuring all emergency services are best deployed and preventing hospital admissions by getting the best assistance to the location. The service has seen a 20% increase in utilisation since inception. Our Paramedics are the best going and we are committed to investing in them. Thanks to all of our QAS staff working hard everyday!
05.01.2022 These political attacks on our Chief Health Officer are just shameless. The LNP have demonstrated they would not follow expert health advice through a global pandemic resulting in more cases and more deaths.
05.01.2022 How out of touch can you be?!
03.01.2022 Becoming a parent is one of my lifes most special moments. Returning to work weeks after becoming a Mum, Reece absolutely embraced the opportunity to become Evies primary caregiver. He does an amazing job and they thrive together ... Gender bias has been present for so long in our industrial framework for caring roles and responsibilities, its been present for too long. Irrespective of gender, the primary caregiver should have access to leave. It provides families the opportunity to choose the arrangements that best suit them. This is good Labor policy Grace Grace MP
03.01.2022 I recall this being first announced when Tony Abbott was PM- the LNP have cycled through 2 more PMs since then but still refuse to accept the content experts opinion... Like so many other projects the LNP show no interest in how to get the job done just how to politicise issues.
03.01.2022 One of the priorities I highlighted in my maiden speech was upgrading Strathpine Station. This year we have completed the project that has supported 250 jobs through construction.
03.01.2022 BREAKING: Restrictions will ease in Brisbane, Ipswich, Logan City, Scenic Rim, Somerset, Lockyer Valley, Moreton Bay, and Redlands from 1am tomorrow, Friday September 25. Gatherings of up to 30 people will be allowed in peoples homes and outdoors. Visitors will be permitted at hospitals, but may be required by the hospital to wear PPE.... Aged care facilities can accept visitors when they are ready to do so. Weve achieved low numbers of cases thanks to Queenslanders acting quickly to slow the spread of COVID-19. #covid19au

02.01.2022 Cathy and Royce are both Strathpine locals and dropped down to my mobile office in Douglas Park this arvo to ask me to tell the Premier to hold the line, keep our borders closed and keep us safe. Thanks to everyone for the positive feedback over the past few days!
01.01.2022 This is the current Dayboro Police Station on the move in 1961. It’s served the community well but it’s time for a modern faculty equipped with the resources our hardworking police need. That’s why a re-elected Palaszczuk Government will be providing a new one!
01.01.2022 Prepoll Pizza Party! Early Voting is open til 9pm tonight
