20.01.2022 Was a pretty low energy morning today & I could totally see my exhaustion was filtering through to the kids & we needed to reset and change the tempo. So to my surprise my 'I want it all parcel turned up only 2 days after ordering it & we all got to try the new Strawberry protein shake and fizz stick & then got white board crazy setting new family goals for the next few weeks. (Absolutely love the new Strawberry flavours!). Our goal today was to switch off from me trying to m...aintain a work/home schooling routine at home & to get out and have some fun. Mix it up a bit. We spent the avo at one of our fav places Tomato Lake, playing touch, frisbee, bullrush and even had some running races. Best highlight was driving us home and seeing the big kids all napping in the car from exhaustion. That's when I know I've had a win I often seem to forget the power of exercise and the many benefits from releasing endorphins & relieving stress and tension no matter what age. And how easy it is to just pick up a ball & make the time to move our bodies. It is my natural pick me up yet it can be the first thing to slip if I let it. Feeling pretty neat I done the old dummy on my boy and scored a try..he was in absolute shock but so was I The body might have aged and slowed down a bit but boy it felt good to have a few tricks up the sleeve to get one over the kids. I hope everyone else is staying well and making time for you. Whether it's rest, stretching, connection, high intensity exercise, low intensity activity, reading, learning, journaling, meditation, baking, talking, art etc. There are so many options. 19.01.2022 Morning everyone So it has taken me until now to actually unwind from my work week which technically ended Friday avo. All I needed was a gentle reminder from my hubby to stop getting caught up in all my thoughts for what I need to do next week. One of the toughest challenges for me is to be present and actually relax without a glass of bubbles. So after a Saturday day nap a long walk listening to my fav tunes, getting in the kitchen because I actually wanted to and creat...ing a meal for the kids AND the best part of the day was attending our Arbonne White Party & Awards which was absolutely hilarious - I finally felt more relaxed and present and was reminded how important it is to tune in to what my body and mind need and to show up. So I just wanted to jump on here to remind everyone who may be juggling a lot in life to take a break. It's okay to have guilt-free down time and let others know you are busy RELAXING or doing things you choose to do. Today I plan to get some paints and canvas out with the kids and paint our little hearts out and also find a new recipe we can all make together. I'm also going to be sharing some of our new products throughout the week. 11.01.2022 Who ate way too many Easter eggs & is feeling like they need a kick start to get back on the wagon? I love that I already know what helps me reset my mind and body. Both my hubby and I have done the 30 day cleanse but now after letting ourselves overindulge it's time to support one another to reset. We are going to jump on a 10 day body cleanse and would love others to join us.
