24.01.2022 *TIP TUESDAY* is here and so is SUMMER!!! Finally the temperature is on the rise but unfortunately, so to is the humidity and time spent taming frizzy hair. Dry hair will try to absorb the extra moisture in the air, so keep your hair well hydrated to avoid excessive frizz. This may involve changing your Shampoo/Conditioner, using moisturising hair treatments or even a leave in conditioner. Over-washing won't help either - let your hair enjoy some of the natural oils! And where all else fails, scarves and big hats will always look chic! xx

23.01.2022 ***TIP TUESDAY*** It's a busy time of year so this week I'll keep it short and sweet with a quick and easy tip to help make your skin appear more luminous! If this hectic time of year has you tired and a bit dehydrated, your skin probably isn't looking its best. Quick fix - mix a drop or two of liquid luminizer (warmer tones are always nice for summer) into your liquid foundation and apply as normal. Voila! Radiant, glowing skin in a couple of minutes.... Just remember to go easy on the luminizer though, a little bit goes a long way and you don't want to end up looking like a human disco ball! xx

20.01.2022 Realised I've been a little bit slack with posting my work lately! Here's a shot from a recent collaboration with Ben Dilger Photography featuring the gorgeous Tamara from que models. What do you think? xx

19.01.2022 It's ***TIP TUESDAY*** again and this week I've got your back Mum! As you get older [read: more beautiful ;)], things change... It's kind of like puberty right!? 1. If you like wearing lipstick, but hate the way it feathers these days then invest in a good clear lip liner. These are amazing! Use the clear pencil to cover your entire lip area and trace around the outside of your lips before applying colour. The formula fills in any gaps meaning your colour has nowhere to blee...d and being invisible, you won't get clown lips! 2. Choose liquids over powders. It's no secret powders can settle into lines and make them more prominent. These days there are so many products on the market, there are liquid or cream options for most products including foundation, blush and bronzer. I'm not saying avoid powders altogether because they certainly do have their place in your makeup collection, but you can achieve a very different look with creams and liquids. 3. Curling your eyelashes can make a world of difference to your look. Even if you're not wearing any makeup at all, take a few seconds to curl your lashes in the morning to make your eyes appear wider and more awake! Invest in a heated eyelash curler (you can pick them up for not much more than a regular eyelash curler) and the effect will last much longer. 4. Black mascara and eyeliner can look fantastic, but I've met a lot of women who find it too harsh and don't like the look for themselves. You can get products in almost any colour you can think of these days, so why not try a brown or grey if you're wanting a softer look without giving up your trusty favourites! 5. Hydration is key. I know this isn't a secret, but it really is the best thing you can do for your insides and outsides. You can do a lot with makeup, but at the end of the day the best solution for dull, tired looking skin is water and healthy food. Nothing will ever beat being healthy! Now I can't give you all of my secrets because you still need a reason to hire me BUT I really do hope these tips are helpful to some of my readers xx

18.01.2022 *TIP TUESDAY* In my job I often come across people who are really opposed to Waterproof Mascara. Like most things in life, cosmetic products will work differently for everyone but I've realised that a lot of these people are simply misinformed about the product and with Summer here, I thought it would be the perfect time to have a chat about it! Firstly, you don't have to save your Waterproof Mascara for days at the beach or a wedding where you might get teary. Waterproof Mas...cara is great for day to day use in the warmer months if you tend to get darkness around your eyes due to mascara rubbing off. The biggest complaints I hear about Waterproof Mascara is that it's difficult to remove and it damages your eyelashes. This shouldn't, and doesn't have to be the case and in fact, these issues go hand in hand. Of course Waterproof Mascara isn't going to come off if you're trying to use face wipes like so many people try to do. It's waterproof, therefore you need to use a waterproof eye makeup remover. It's available basically anywhere you can find regular waterproof mascara and they're very clearly labelled. When using any remover on the eyes, don't rub and pull, make sure you hold a remover pad with the remover product over your eye and let the remover do its job and break down the mascara before gently wiping. Removing the product properly will also result in less eyelashes breaking and falling out! So go ahead and give your Waterproof Mascara a second chance xx

17.01.2022 This TIP TUESDAY has been inspired by the fact that I'm on holidays woohoo! While I'm on that, I have the next two weeks tips scheduled to post but may I not have wifi so not 100% sure it will work. My apologies in advance if they disappear! As I was packing my suitcase, I got inspired to share with you what to pack in your Makeup bag when you're short on space. This is all you'll need for your next getaway! -Moisturisers, removers, cleansers etc.: while you're on holidays yo...u need to keep up your regular skincare routine. When we're vacay-ing we tend to eat more, drink more and expose our skin to different climates so keep up the skincare routine. Make sure you're throwing SPF products into the equation too. Save room by depotting your products into smaller bottles as containers, easily found at most pharmacies and supermarkets. -Tinted Moisturiser/BB/CC: whichever you fancy, but ditch the foundation because you're on holidays and ain't nobody got time for that! Just a sheer coverage to even you out a bit and give you some colour should be all you need and you won't need to worry about it caking in the heat (depending where you're going). If you feel you need more coverage, just take a good concealer and spot conceal any spots or discolourations you may be worried about. -Waterproof Mascara: this will cover you in every situation, in every location. Whether it be the beach or the streets of London in the middle of winter, waterproof mascara has your back and will quickly open your eyes and add definition without much time or effort involved. Just ensure you have an oil based remover with you. -Red Lipstick: I know this doesn't seem like an essential item but hear me out! A gorgeous red lip will not only dress up any outfit if you find yourself with a special occasion, but it can also double as a cream blush if you like some colour on your cheeks. Any products you can use for multiple purposes are great for cutting down your luggage! -Blotting Papers: if you're going somewhere with a warmer climate or just naturally oily, pack blotting papers. They're light, take up very little room and unlike a powder, there's no chance of it smashing! There's your cosmetic bag packed!! Of course there are plenty of other products worth taking away but I believe these products mentioned are all you need to create lovely, simple and low maintenance looks while you're on vacay. Let me know if you liked this xx

16.01.2022 TIP TUESDAY!! Now let's hope this weeks tip doesn't get lost in the interweb... Eyebrows have once again become a top beauty priority with everyone wanting #browgamestrong. While that perfect arch and full look can change the way your face looks, there's another brow trick most of us don't consider. Where your eyebrows start will affect how wide or narrow your nose looks. So if your eyebrows start quite close together, your nose will look more narrow. Conversely, the further ...apart your eyebrows are, the wider your nose will look. Cover your eyebrows and have a play in the mirror. You can change the whole look of your face with this one trick although do bare in mind, a monobrow will not make your nose disappear! xx

03.01.2022 After a little break TIP TUESDAY is back! I'll be changing it up a little this year but to start us off I've got a great tip to save your makeup! When applying mascara, sometimes we make a mess and get it on our skin. It's natural that your first instinct is to wipe it away but as most women will know, it makes a huge smudgy mess and is a pain to remove. Next time this happens, leave it to dry. If your mascara is not waterproof, it will be much easier to remove and won't spread everywhere once it's dried!

02.01.2022 Looks like yesterday's tip got lost with Facebooks mini meltdown! To apologise, here's some recent work with Natalie Roser and shot by Josie of It's Now Cool xx
