10.01.2022 When should I start having Anti-Wrinkle Treatment? .. Common question but theres no exact age you should start. There are however some common myths we can disp...el. .. Myth 1 - "Once I start Ill have to keep going forever or Ill age more quickly if I stop". Wrong. Anti-wrinkle relaxes the muscles from contracting forcefully so in fact youre preventing lines from etching in to your skin, hence keeping you looking younger and fresher. You can stop at any time and your muscles return to normal strength. .. Myth 2 - "I will look frozen". Wrong. Particularly with the dosage of medication I give my patients they look like themselves just fresher. Movement is a part of life and facial expression is maintained always. .. Myth 3 - "I will require the same dosage of Anti-wrinkle medication each time". Wrong. The first time you may require a stronger dose than subsequent treatments, especially if you keep your treatment on a 3 to 4 month plan you may need a lower dose. Conversely if you wait a long time between treatments you may need a higher dosage at a higher cost. I will assess your face every time and tailor a bespoke plan for you. ..
